I have always received an excellent service while working with Stirling Ackroyd. I have had tenants on and off for years even before the rebranding. Rino has been my main point of contact for a over a year and has been so professional, polite and more importantly is always quick to respond to requests whether for market rental reviews or just information. I would absolutely recommend Stirling Ackroyd to my friends because of quality service received.

Absolutely brilliant!

We dealt with the Egham office where Mark. Ben and the team were brilliant. Quite frankly there was no comparison when selecting the estate agent we wanted to use compared to others in the area. Mark & Ben were very professional and were always on hand to answer questions giving us so much support through the whole procedure. From the valuation, viewings, paperwork through to completion it was a pleasure to deal with them. Five stars plus plus from me!

Professional and courteous from the start

After losing our mum, we were left with the incredibly difficult task of having to sell our family home. Stirling Ackroyd in Mitcham is the number 1 estate agents in the area. Previously had many dealings with goodfellows but thought I would give stirling ackroyd a go after Charles came round to value my property and I was so impressed with his manner and his knowledge of the market. I then stepped into office a week later and met Robbie who further explained what Stirling ackroyd can offer and also his market knowledge showed me that Charles and Robbie were the guys who should be selling my property. 2 weeks down the line I put my property online with them and they quickly sold it as promised. Their service and care was amazing !…will 1000% be recommending to friends and family. I also have other properties that I will selling through this branch. Thanks Robbie and Charles, you both made my experience so so much better !

Not only did they handle the sale of our house with professionalism, honesty and transparency, but they also provided invaluable advice on how we approached buying our new house. Throughout the whole process they were always available and kept us up to date on how things were progressing. They took a proactive role in dealing with solicitors (ours, our buyers, and those of the people we ended up buying from) and helped us achieve the exchange and completion dates we were aiming for. Since signing our tenancy agreement we have had NIGHTMARES with this scam company. Now been over 2 weeks and still no news when we will have our deposit back. Apparently Katy Harris has been trying to call the landlord but it’s table tennis, they keep missing eachother. In all my years at customer service and using a telephone I have never known a company incapable of contacting a landlord for feedback regarding releasing a deposit. Currently I’m sat on hold only for her colleague Amy to say she’s on a lengthy call so is unsure when she can put her through or even if I can get through. After waiting on hold for nearly 10 minutes Katy has managed to get a response from the landlord stating she will have answers at 4:30pm.. very close to the end of the day funny enough. She’s also requested that I do not chase her until after 5pm??? What a strange thing to request especially seeing as that’s when they will close for bank holiday. I’m sick to death of the pathetic excuse of an estate agency. Nothing but liars who get pleasure at messing people around, fobbing you off and failing to do their jobs time and time again.Stirling Ackroyd also ensured I would not need to conduct a professional clean as the property was so disgusting when we initially moved in. Confirmed by Becky - the lettings director and also Arran who was a Property Manager, even after having written confirmation of this agreement and providing this. Katy Harris still has to speak to the landlord to see whether she would charge us? I’m pretty sure if the landlord wants to go down this route even though it’s illegal considering we have a written agreement from 2 Stirling Ackroyd employees. They still said she can charge us? AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!! They will cause you nothing but stress and hold onto your money just simply because they are nothing but terrible people.AVOID AVOID AVOIDWon’t hold my breath on a resolution today or in the next week in fact.

Incompetent and unprofessional

I rented out my property through this company and it was a nightmare. The tenants were not properly vetted and almost every item of furniture in the property was either destroyed or soiled beyond salvage during the course of the tenancy. I paid for background checks and inventory check, in and out. It was an utter waste of money as although damage was noted, I was not reimbursed at all. A lot of damage was missed at inspection, including a door taken off it's hinges and a completely broken dining table.

Had such a great experience with Stirling ackroyd. Had the privilege of working with Joanna who made our experience in such a tough market worth while. Although we didn’t end up buying a property through Joanna (due to the marketplace being super super competitive) I wish we had as she is such an incredible agent. Really fought for us to get a property, gave us regular updates of new properties coming in! Always answered the phone or called back quickly (which is super important and can be rare in this market.. very friendly, honest and have given us such great advice throughout our process.. really thought about and cared for our needs which made such a stressful process much more bearable. If I ever sell or buy in the future Joanna will definitely be our first point of call! Joanna is definitely an asset to Stirling Ackroyd!! Thank you Joanna

Excellent Service

We recently bought a property via Stirling Ackroyd, with Feroza Ahmed as our agent and we were very happy with the service that we received. From the moment we viewed the property, Feroza was informative, patient and extremely helpful. During the search for a new house, we dealt with a large number of estate agents over a period of 6 months and Feroza's approach was honest and personable; which was extremely refreshing. Unfortunately, our house purchase became somewhat complicated and Feroza was such a support to us - we really felt that she went above and beyond to do her best for us. We are not sure we would have continued with the purchase at times if we had been dealing with another agent.Based on our experience, we wanted to communicate that she is truly an asset to Stirling Ackroyd we will be recommending Stirling Ackroyd to any potential buyers that we meet.
