I'm sorry to say that I have to update my original post with regards to Haart Estate and Lettings Agents. This organisation is not what they portray themselves to be. When you want to rent one of their properties, they are wonderful. However, when you want to leave that said property, you will be presented with a most UNHELPFUL, PROCRASTINATING, and MONEY HUNGRY organisation. I was presented with AVOIDANCE TACTICS, DELAY TACTICS, and BILLS, FINES, and EXTRA PAYMENTS that did not exist. Luckily, I'm a man who has a habit of never throwing anything out. I had retained all documents and evidence, and once I had provided copies to Haart, I heard only silence. So, my advice to anyone looking for an estate agent is to choose any others. If you are unable to choose any others, then make sure you keep all the documents and GOOD LUCK.

The agents were very helpful and addressed queries promptly and tried to solve issues in a friendly and professional manner. The only constructive criticism would be, that there should always be one person at the various estate agent offices (especially Croydon) at all times during the opening hours. It was proving quite frustrating at times, not being able to talk to the relevant agent straight away, but instead, the call being diverted to head office instead!!

Oh, wow where do I start from, the quality of service from Kapri at Croydon branch is truly amazing. Everyone know how difficult it is to get a house these days however Kapri has made the entire process so smooth for us. I highly recommend Kapri from Croydon branch - Kapri Long way to go.

Horrible. We paid monthly for the estate agents to fully manage the property- we ended up having to deal with all the tenants issues ourselves. Our tenants were nightmares, at the end caused intentional damage to the property and also Refused to pay rent for several months. We had a so called rent guarantee that we paid for- the estate agent decided to, without letting us know, cancel it after a few months as soon as we were eligible to claim. So we lost all that money and didn’t know why until we investigated it. They were rasict on the phone when we asked for money from the deposit to be used to fix the intentional damage the tenants left (writing and scratches on the walls, toilet stain black so much the cleaner couldn’t clean, a hole in the wall, door knobs all broken etc etc)- saying ‘in this country you deal with a third party for deports and you do it yourself’. We’ve lived here our whole lives… and of course there third party deposit platform came back and said it’s the estate agent who has to make the claim on our behalf. So we lost the whole deposit with no money from the tenant to fix the damage. Haart are criminals.

We had an overall terrible experience. The team seemed unaware of the flat they were renting out, and when we received the property, it was in awful condition, covered in pet hair, with a broken bathtub panel and mold throughout. We ended up surrendering the property after paying over £400 just to be done with it. Even the letting team admitted they were struggling to find a new tenant for it. Additionally, recovering our deposit was a lengthy and difficult process, involving a challenging dispute. Overall, it was the worst experience we've had.
