We can not recommend Tom and Simon at Foxton’s Crystal Palace enough. If it weren’t for their hard work, we would not have ended up in our dream home. They went above and beyond what was required of them at all stages from our offer being accepted to all of the inevitable bumps in the road that happen when buying a property. They made an otherwise stressful transaction run smoothly and kept us informed and up to date, at the same time as being nothing but professional and friendly. Thanks so much Tom and Simon!

Best salesman of the year award goes to, Tom Pedrotti. Tom and Simon from Foxtons Crystal Palace are great at their job. Tom had kept me updated at every step of the way. The vendor was very difficult to deal with, and at one point decided not to sell but Tom applied his expertise and got the sale through right to the end. Tom is very knowledgable, friendly and deserves to be promoted. I will definitely be dealing with him again very soon to buy more properties.

Foxtons have got my house sale over the line and I am extremely grateful for the step by step help and support from the Crystal Palace Branch with particular mention to Carley Rust Williams for getting the prospective buyers and the eventual purchaser, following everything up and keeping me in the loop, also working with my conveyance solicitor to get the job done. What a relief it was that I chose Foxtons at CP to sell my beloved house. Simon and Tom were so delightful - efficient and professional but also kind and not at all pushy. They kept me informed throughout the whole process and never seemed to mind when I rang in an anxious panic. They sold the house for an excellent price in early 2019 and made the whole process very simple and calm with no dramas or excess pressure on me to accept offers which they had to inform me if. A very refreshing experience and two very honest and charming young men!

Non-existent communication. Viewings done by an unprepared team: didn't know level of service charge, exposure, if the appliances were new or not, size of the flat or rooms. One claimed we had replaced the kitchen (we hadn't), another that the Hue Lights we installed were staying in the flat for the buyer (we never said that).

OUTSTANDING. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for". When we initially asked five agents to value our property we surprised at how much higher Foxtons fees were than their competitors - but we immediately knew that Sarah Olaleye was the only person who we wanted to sell our house. From the marketing to negotiating with the Buyers and through to exchange, Sarah was nothing short of OUTSTANDING. She is professional, calm, firm, tenacious, supportive, friendly and fun and was in contact at every step of the process. When we were getting nervous, Sarah was the steady and supportive hand to guide us through. I don't believe any other agent could have achieved the result that Sarah did, she went above and beyond and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her and her team to friends and family. Foxtons have a real star in Sarah and next time we move home Sarah will be the only person I call.

Terrible service

Terrible service. Very disappointed. I found a short let property on their portal myself, the agent (Amir Abbasian) kept suggesting either awful properties, or ones over my budget. They were very quick to call back and close the deal but once the deal was made, I never once was able to speak directly to my agent Olivia Taylor, or anyone from Foxtons again. Repeated messages and email queries went unanswered. Every two weeks a new person would be in touch and all my queries would be ignored. The property was nice and in good condition but i paid Foxtons 350 pounds for the end of tenancy clean, and was slapped with a 600 pound cleaning claim on my deposit. The property was never cleaned and my landlord claimed the charges from my deposit. at least a dozen emails later, I still don't have a protection document number for my deposit. I was told my deposit was protected. I ws told I would be provided an inventory upon moving in. I was told the place would be cleaned at the end of my tenancy, for which i paid. None of the above happened. Still waiting for part of my deposit to be returned, even though they said it was transferred three weeks ago and should take 5 to 7 days to be credited. I've settled the dispute with my landlord now, even though it is extortion, but it seems even he was being cheated by Foxtons.

We contacted Foxtons Crystal Palace and Shadane Sutherland-McGhie helped us every step of the way to secure a flat in a stress free and friendly manor. He was able to keep us up-to-date throughout the whole process and was able to provide great advice across the board on any questions we had regarding the contract or payments + loads more topics. We need a rental quickly and Shadane was there no matter what time of day to secure the property we wanted, I can't recommend Shadane or Foxtons Crystal Palace any higher!

We just completed on our flat sale with the Crystal Palace branch of Foxtons. Charlie Jones and Simon Darvill were absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process and we really cannot recommend them enough! Honestly, I was always a little dubious about Foxtons because I thought their listings were sometimes overpriced but they definitely proved me wrong! Knowledge of the market was great and they got us an offer that exceeded our expectations! After we accepted they managed to keep the sale going and get us through to completion in challenging circumstances - with a conveyancing nightmare on the buyer's side. They were professional and communicative throughout and both Charlie and Simon went above and beyond behind the scenes to make sure the sale went through. We went with Foxtons over other agencies in the area because they were recommended to us by another flat seller in our building. 100% the right choice as sellers in our building who listed with other agencies have had sales fall through over the same time period. Flats listed with Foxtons sold, others haven't as yet - the results speak for themselves!

Didn’t expect the estate agent I chose would have been such an important decision but they were integral to progressing the transaction. I feel that the experience was negative

I put my flat up for sale with my Foxtons, I was going to go with another agent but they were very pushy and said how they managed to sell better than anyone so I went with them. I was under the impression my flat would go straight up but after I signed the contract it took them 2 weeks to take photos and put them up, in the meantime they put up a video of the flat from a mid-term inspection where it looked absolutely disgusting. I had never seen this video and I don't see why it would be allowed to be put up without my permission, I asked for it to be removed, they didn't and it took them nearly the 2 weeks to remove it. The photos they took were adequate but not particularly great, I was pretty disappointed. I felt that the price was extremely over inflated (like all their prices) but respected they knew better than me, but when every single person gave feedback that it was way overpriced and no one showed any interest I became quite embarrassed. I found it very hard to contact my sales agent and just gave up most times after leaving numerous messages. I heard from my agent 10 times more before I signed with them than I did during my contract. When I gave notice 28 days before the end after having no interest, I was reminded how they are the number one and warned that going to another agent would not solve the issue. Their commission is so much more than everyone else but I feel my experience with their sales agent was extremely poor and I can't believe I had no interest in my nice flat. I feel I made a mistake going with them and would caution anyone thinking of them. Also I rented my flat with them for nearly 2 decades and my last tenant emailed them notice which they said they did not receive until the next day so they extended the end date to one day beyond the end of the month, they then charged me a management fee of £9 for the one day (and she paid £1 something rent for that one day). I will never rent with them again due to the complete lack of transparency with regards to money. (As for the excuse that the housing market is quiet I put my other property up for sale at the same time and it sold within 2 weeks, but then again the photos were really good and the price was reasonable).

Do not rent through Foxtons

If you are a renter, please do not use Foxtons. They are a scammy horrible company that only serves the interests of the landlord. They rented us an overpriced disgusting dump by using old out-of-date photos in the rental ad, and locked us into an abusively restrictive contract that made it impossible to leave the horrible dump that ruined my mental health. Do yourself a favour and stay away from these money hungry scammers.

Extremely poor experience with Foxtons. We were left without proper cooking facilities for 25 days, which had a major impact on our daily life and forced us to spend extra money on food. A functioning cooker is a basic part of any home, yet this was not handled with the urgency it deserved.
