I can’t recommend Cranleigh Cubitt and west enough. Putting our house on the market just before a pandemic wasn’t what we had planned, but the team at Cranleigh branch was so helpful and provided us with regular updates. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. I had an extremely disappointing experience with the Shirley branch, characterized by incompetence and dishonesty. Initially, I was drawn in by an overestimated property valuation of £25,000, which I later discovered was a deliberate tactic. Claudious proved to be untrustworthy, and I caught him in multiple lies. The branch manager, Ruocco, was completely ineffective in addressing these and any issues. Furthermore, Claudious and Ruocco displayed a lack of professionalism, with numerous typos in emails and important documents. I felt like just another number, with no personal service or genuine care. After all, Cubitt and West is a chain, and I was one of many. They did not care for my experience or service. I strongly advise seeking out an independent agency, as they all advertise on the same systems. Save yourself the trouble and avoid the Shirley branch at ALL costs.
