Awful experience with this location and company in General from start to finish! No accountability, as stories did not match those of the landlords and was just basically passing the buck, with blatant disregard for the contract. Over 1 week past the security deposit repayment date, and not even an apology. My advise is to save yourself from the additional headache, as agencies are meant to ease the process and not complicate. Trying to find the silver lining but there is none for this place. Sorry.

Branch manager Carrie at the East Croydon branch was the deciding factor in which we chose Barnard Marcus over other estate agents in the area. We were impressed by her preparation, organisation and friendly approach. She made us feel special and felt like she was on our side in the sale of our property. At the same time, she was honest with us and managed expectations. Carrie was extremely proactive throughout the process and dropping off documents by hand was a nice touch. It is very clear that she is the driving force behind the team. The viewings part of the process was ok. We dealt with several guys from the branch at this stage. At times we felt communication could have been better. Particularly when it came to arranging viewings - we weren’t asked what days suited us before bookings were made and we weren’t sure which agent was turning up and when. Feedback of viewings consisted of a short email write up and on one occasion a short phone call. Having said that, Barnard Marcus secured us a very good price for our property especially considering the housing market at the time. The worst part for us was at the tail end of the process. We felt extremely pressured by the sales progressor. It was very clear that they were on the buyers side. We do appreciate our sale dragged on (no fault of Barnard Marcus or our own) and that they were trying to get the sale over the line, however It felt that they struggled to manage the buyers expectations which led to us feeling extremely stressed at times around situations that were out of our control. Overall we were happy with Barnard Marcus dealing with the sale of our property and would recommend.

Worst agency EVER! DAYNA and ANTON. We gave our notice, paid in advance, to move in on 20th of July and they kept delaying.. on 25th of July (today) they just don't answer the phone. The day before they said they were waiting for the landlord. DAYNA had all the documents since the begining of the month, went on holidays and didn't pass the information to her coleague ANTON. Anton took a week and half to process the documents and references and till today didn't gave us an answer. Super unprofessional. I do not recommend their services.
