Total failure. Rude and unprofessional staff. Very few viewing of the house. Promised communication failed to happen as the norm. Poor quality photographs of house and near illiterate description of house and garden. Agents appear to be in league with the one buyer to get a cut down price so the house could be rented out by them. If you want to sell a home in Hucknall try another agent.

I have a buy to let property in Barking bought from and managed by the local Bairstow Eves office. I'm VERY unhappy with the service I receive from them. I pay a monthly service charge and yet get no service.Every month, the rent paid to Countrywide by Housing Benefit on my tenant's behalf goes astray. Every month it takes weeks of emails to trace the money despite my tenant sending a reference number. Housing Benefit have invited Countrwide to sign up to the landlord's portal so they know exactly when the rent is being paid. I have no idea whether Countrywide have signed up because neither they nor the Barking office respond to my emails. The January rent has not yet been paid to me. This is causing problems with mortgage payments, service charges etc. I'm certain my tenant is not the only person in receipt of Housing Benefit that Countrywide deal with and yet they seem to have no system for dealing with what is after all public money.When I tried to submit this on your feedback form, this is what I gotWe're sorry, but something went wrong.If you are the application owner check the logs for more information.

Absolute worst estate agents! Took our 6 months rent upfront told us we could move into the property only to be told 5 hours after we were due to get the keys that we weren’t allowed to have the property after all! We had paid for removals and were literally sitting outside the house only to be mucked about for the entire day. Very disappointing and if we could give them zero stars we would!

GoogleIt was my first time moving out and my estate agent was Tom. We had been to a few other companies before but no one helped us like Tom in Bairstow Eves. He was extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable, with his friendly and helpful attitude. My experience looking for a flat was made both enjoyable and easy! He kept me well updated and informed with everything that was happening. I Couldn’t be more happy with his service.

Dishonest, incompetent, the last 18 months have been infuriating stressful and costly, systemic failures in their property management team, did not manage the property licensing process, Help2 Rent tenant, let the H2R rent guarantee expire, so no rent cover and tenant in significant arrears, a personal data breach, lost keys, among a litany of failures. Avoid this company at all costs look around do t be fooled by the size of this company, it’s size dwarfs its ability to manage a single property with competence or integrity.

While in the process of purchasing a property i had my mortgage adviser and solicitor, but the agent pressured me into using their services by stating multiple times on the phone the seller would rather the buyer use their services. After the third time i was pressured into saying yes because in all the telephone conversations i was not getting anywhere until I said yes.The mistake I made was having all this conversation in a telephone conversation instead of emails. Their complaint department just threw the case under the bus because I had no evidence and their telephone conversations were not recorded.I avoid this company and their services.

GoogleI am currently in the process of buying my first flat through Bairstow Eves in Purley. The first time I walked in I had a warm welcome from Sophie who has looked after me throughout, she has been more than happy to answer all my questions and explained each stage of the process. I also attended a launch event for the flat where I was greeted well by all of the staff who were all happy to assist me in my flat purchase. This is a friendly branch who I would recommend to family and friends. Fingers crossed the rest of my experience with them goes just as well, although I am sure it will!

GoogleI recently bought a property through Bairstow Eves Purley. Committed and super professional service. Bella who walked us through every step has been very helpful. She took it upon herself to make sure we "First Time" buyers were comfortable. She always stayed in touch at every step off the way. She even came out on her day off to show the property when we asked. I will highly recommend Bairstow Eves and Bella in particular. Her radiant personality made the whole daunting house buying experience into a wonderful start for us. Thank You. Mik Patel (Mortgage Consultant) has been fantastic through our home buying process. He took it upon himself to thoroughly explain each step and periodically follow up at every stage. He made us feel welcomed. He liaised with the solicitors for the smooth progression. I cannot stress even how much Mik helped us during a stressful stage. I would happily recommend him to anyone else in a similar position

GoogleAmazing service received from James Anson and Gary. We travelled from Middlesex to Purley for all our appointments and we would do it all over again, we were shown a selection of houses that suited our needs James really took time to know his customers well and any query we had was dealt with in such an efficient manner whether it was with regards to the house we had put in an offer ofr or the mortgage. Would definitely recommend.

GoogleAs a landlord am tottaly happy with the service provied by Bairstow Eves in Purley as there my Managing agents/ both Julie Goddard & Sophie Griffin have done an expectional job managing my apartment and also my tenets too ie drawing up contracts/ all checks on tenet history / mantaince or repairs /all safety certificates all followed up/rent valuation & collection the list goes on /and always helpfull with any unforseen problems that may araise

They call you without saying who they are spying and acting like it’s your estate agent selling your home that you have chosen. I’m positive they are breaking data protection has they impersonate another acting estate agents. It’s not until you say can you conform who you are when you’ll be surprised to see it’s a spying estate agent asking for personal confidential information from you. I’ve recorded the calls to send onto the ombudsman has it’s against regulations.
