This was my daughter's first flat purchase and it took a while for the mortgage application and other issues to be processed, but we finally got there mainly due to the professionalism of the Bairstow Eves Selsdon staff who never gave up chasing on our behalf. I would like to thank Ms Alison at the Seldon office for all the help on a successful sale of my property. Alison has been amazing through out the whole ten months this took. Alison Abel is the very best. Seriously. I've worked in Real Estate for 20 years (starting as a sales and letting agent). As an investment house, We bought 5 or 6 buildings from Alison this year so far. I can honestly say she's the best I've ever dealt with. High praise from an institutional real estate investor. She never wasted my time with unsuitable properties, always answers my calls, chases the council and professionals to get deals over the line. My lawyers loved her! (that never happens) Alison and her team are a credit to the Countrywide brand. If Countrywide were my company, I'd promote her to Head of Customer Experience and have her training all the negotiators, managers and progressers. Chloe did everything absolutely perfectly. We bought our first house at lightening speed (10 weeks to complete- with Christmas in the middle!) and Chloe was intrinsic to it happening so fast. She expertly and kindly filled in any gaps in our knowledge, of which there were a few, being first time buyers. The valuation was spot on with the mortgage companies valuation. If we sell in the future we will definitely do it via Chloe at Bairstow Eves! Can't recommend her and the team at selsdon highly enough! Thank you!!

After previous experience with another estate agents I was very dubious when signing up with Bairstow Eves however Alison completely turned all that around. Alison is very warm, friendly and honest. When I first met her she said that she would be able to sell my house and she did within a couple of weeks. It's not easy ot easy selling especially when your buyers solicitor is extremely slow however Alison was always at the end of the phone keeping me updated. Well done Team Selsdon Bairstow Eves. You definitely know your stuff. Alison worked so hard on every aspect of our sale which was towards the end a tad turbulent to say the least. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone in the Selsdon Branch. Would I recommended yes without a shadow of a doubt My only complaint which is NOT about Bairstow Eves its about Coutrywide Conveyancing (the connected legal service) I personally would not use that service again. To say the service was slow is an understatement (5 weeks before my file was even looked at). Having said that I have read many fantastic reviews we were just very unlucky with our original solicitor and that can happen with anyone. Main thing is the sale completed and we are all in our new homes and that is only thanks to Team Selsdon Baistow and their dedication

Alison and the team were so helpful. For a first time buyer I had lots of questions and they put my mind at ease and were there to answer all of them. I would like to write this review to thank and praise the hard work and commitment shown by Alison Abel and Chloe Gledhill at Bairstow Eves Selsdon. I just can’t thank them enough. Alison was just fantastic. She was calm, professional and extremely supportive considering I wasn’t even her client. I was the purchasing vendor for her client. Alison was always on the end of the phone for me when I needed support, or if I wanted something clarified regarding the property I was purchasing. She was professional in terms of how she recorded everything to ensure nothing was missed. The whole process took around 3mths which I feel is really quick, and I feel Alison played a huge part in this as she chased solicitors, followed up emails, and phone calls and liaised with myself to ensure that I was kept updated and happy with everything being said to me and sent to. If I decided to sell in the future I would definitely hands down be going to Alison and her team at Bairstow Eves Selsdon. I found Alison and Chloe to be such nice people, remaining calm at all times even when things were reaching boiling point.
