I have both sold and purchased through Romans in Crowthorne this year. The service the Romans Crowthorne team provided in my experience has been outstanding. The team, particularly Daniel, Ben and Michael have been excellent throughout the entire process. I have been impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail. All the team have proactively marketed my property and viewings were booked promptly with every attempt made to accommodate mine and the prospective buyers’ schedules. The negotiation process was managed patiently and calmly. Nothing has been too much trouble. Daniel also assisted my purchase and my experience with this equally matched the sale experience. All in all, the end to end process of selling and buying houses was superbly managed by Romans. I would highly recommend the Romans Crowthorne team for their exceptional quality of service.

Romans Auctions recently managed the selling of my mother’s house, and what was also the home for me and my siblings for many years. My mother is living in a care home with dementia, and had been at the family home for over 50 years. Being in charge of my mother’s finances, we had to make the decision to realise funds from the asset for her care, and achieving the best possible sale price in a short amount of time was a top priority. We approached Romans auctions, as the property was very dated, but had a large plot and plenty of potential. Romans Auctions, specifically Simon Clayton, advised us on the sale and recommended we go down the auction route. Simon helped guide us through the whole process, and they managed the sale of the house making what would have been incredibly stressful time for all the family, a relatively painless and swift process. We listed the house in September, the property sold in the auction a month later, and the sale completed first week of November. The eventual sale price exceeded all of our expectations, and the speed of the process was outstanding. We can't recommend them highly enough and we would definitely use their services again in the future.

Having lived in the same property for 26 yrs. we were a little apprehensive about going to market and were definitely looking for a high level of support and a safe pair of hands. We talked with three potential local agents and we both felt that James, his Crowthorne team and the Romans organisation generally would fit the bill. We were not to be disappointed with our choice. The advice, support and marketing were spot on and on going feedback was very good. 22 viewings and 2 realistic offers were the result. Romans support does not end following offer acceptance and the move management team ensure that the subsequent, often tortuous, processes stay on track until satisfactory completion is achieved with James still very much in the loop.
