Disappointing experience with Haywards Heath branch as a potential buyer of a property that they were selling/managing. Substandard communication throughout the entire process from start to finish with us regularly chasing for updates which was massively elongated due to the sellers 'changing their minds' after we had, had our offer accepted, engaged a solicitor and paid for searches to be completed on the property. The entire situation could have been avoided if the sellers were onboarded correctly with Mansell Mc Taggart to ensure that they were 100% certain about marketing and selling their property. Make sure you get everything formalised in writing to protect yourself should anything go wrong like it did in our situation.

GoogleWe cannot speak highly enough of MM in Crowborough. First class in every way and stand apart from other estate agents. Lee, Chris and Paul are a great team, professional, knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. Always responded promptly to the numerous emails and phone calls our complicated sale involved over many months and kept us fully informed at all times. We will always be grateful to Chris for securing us a great buyer and for finding us our lovely new home and to Paul for his endless patience, calm manner and support through the prolonged conveyancing process. It was very helpful that all parties in our long chain respected him and were happy for him to act as the linchpin in the extremely stressful final days leading up to exchange which finally got us over the line.

We had a few different agents from the Storrington and Billingshurst branches dealing with our sale. Unsure if we definitely wanted to sell, we took things slowly and were supported initially with a soft sell approach. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, listening and supporting us whilst we explored options. GoogleVery rude on the phone and lied through their teeth, something dodgy going on, just proved that they are indeed a bunch of liars by replying to my post with more lies, said I shouted at them which is totally untrue, then said I put the phone down when it was the lady I spoke to who put the phone down, disgraceful behavior !!!!
Many thanks for your review Mr Tarling. You called up about a property which we advised was under offer to a very happy owner and applicant. You put the phone down after we explained that unfortunately you wouldn’t be able to view (on our clients instructions) then called back and shouted at 2 members of staff. The property was indeed under offer and has now exchanged. No lies were told and we maintained professionalism throughout. After getting our house valued last year, we decided not to sell and informed the team in the Horsham branch back in July we were not interested in selling and we would be in touch if things changed. Since then, emails, missed calls even blocking a number still getting hounded every other week! Seriously un professional and definitely when we do sell they won’t be the estate agent of choice!

This was the 2nd estate agent we tried to sell our house with. The service was great the team are so friendly and knowledgeable they worked really hard to sell our house and were always available by phone and email if we needed to contact them. I wish I’d used them in the first place but going forward I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and recommended them to others.

This estate agency is nothing but greedy, with zero care for their clients. Once they've got your money, you're just another number to them. Communication is poor, and they couldn't care less about your needs. Avoid them at all costs.

During 2022 we were looking to buy a house around Haywards Heath. The frenzied housing market meant it took more than a year and 10 offers before we finally secured our forever home. Throughout our search one agent stood out for us above the rest. The helpfulness of the staff, the quality of the videos and accuracy of the details of the properties were really helpful to us especially as we were then living far from HH. We were pleased that the house we ended up buying was on sale through them and would happily recommend them as a great estate agent despite not having paid for a service from them.

DISGUSTING COMPANY DO NOT USE. We have a new born baby and reported mould at the property. Not only did they say this is an ongoing issue they knew about before we moved in, they refused to send someone out to inspect or treat the mould, putting my baby's safety at risk!

GoogleI visited the Crowborough branch to register on behalf of my daughter and the young lady I spoke to could not have been less interested if she had tried. She made no attempt to give me any details of properties within my daughters price range and wrote my details down on a scrap of paper which I doubt ever made it on to their system as was evident when I rang a couple of days later to arrange a viewing and the same person had no idea who I was. I left her to arrange the viewing for the next day, having not heard anything back in the morning I rang again to chase up and was told, again by the same person, that she had not been able to arrange the viewing because she had not managed to contact the seller. When asked why she had not thought to let me know this she had no answer.

GoogleI can honestly say, if it wasn’t for Chris at Mansell McTaggart, we’d still be in our old house. Our old house was fine, but we’d had itchy feet for a while and wanted a new project, and more space. Chris completely ‘got’ us and understood what we wanted and where we were coming from. He and the team marketed our house beautifully, got billions of viewings through the door and were generally excellent all round. Although we sold through them, our new house wasn’t bought through Mansells. But the whole team did everything to make our move as smooth as possible and I honestly couldn’t fault them. I am not a fan of estate agents (who is?!🥴) but these guys were great. Thank you all!!

GoogleI was very impressed with Mansell McTaggart who recently sold my house. Chris valued the house and also gave advise on the marketing of the house, which proved to be correct. The house was sold within a couple of days of it going on the market and I think that I was given good advise by all the team at Mansell McTaggart. I would certainly recommend them to anybody else trying to decide which estate agent to use.
