As someone who has lived in the same property for 30yrs... the thought of selling up and moving was a very scary process, however I really didn't need to worry thanks to Ryan jade and Sharon of robinsons Sedgefield.They have all been extremely approachable friendly and professional throughout the whole process. Guiding me throughout, with constant patience and understanding. Keeping me up to date with progress and advising me of what would be happening next. Very disappointed by the letting service. Visited a property that had mud all over the front door, a beeping smoke alarm and no washer connection in the kitchen, The last one being a deal breaker. It would have been nice if they had told us from the start.
Thank you for your feedback following your visit to the property. Having reviewed the points raised, it is important to provide some context and clarification. The smoke alarm was simply alerting that the battery required replacement. This is routine maintenance and would have been attended to and fully resolved prior to any tenancy commencing, in line with safety and compliance obligations. With regard to the condition of the front door, properties can experience minor, temporary cosmetic issues between visits, particularly during periods of poor weather or contractor access. These are not reflective of the condition a property is handed over in at move-in stage. In respect of the washing machine connection, this was not raised or noted during your viewing. Where specific requirements are highlighted, these can be clarified or solutions explored; however, it is not possible to address concerns that have not been brought to our attention. The previous tenant occupied the property without issue in this regard. While it is, of course, your prerogative to decide whether a property is suitable, the matters referenced are operational or easily remedied items rather than fundamental defects. As such, the characterisation of the viewing experience appears somewhat disproportionate to the issues identified. All feedback is nevertheless recorded for internal review, and we’ll pass back to the Landlord. We wish you every success in finding a suitable property that meets your needs. I have nothing but great things to say about Robinsons. From the information given at the day we put our home on the market enabled us to be comfortable about what we were doing. The videos and pictures along with advice from Ryan was top notch. Our home was sold within 2 weeks of putting it up. Magnificent. The girls in the office are great at keeping you updated as the process unfolds ensuring good communication between buyer and seller. I would higher recommend you stop looking at estate agents and go with Robinsons. Best in the North East without doubt. 👌

We have used the Sedgefield office for both purchasing and selling a property. It is a real pleasure to deal with staff that are both pleasant and professional with the service they provide. Ryan the Manager is very enthusiastic in his work and this attitude filters through the office. His presentation of videos and photographs is outstanding and contributes very much to assist the selling. Sharon is very knowledgeable and very pleasant with communications. Jade and Oliviar also provide excellent support in the office. We have no hesitation in recommending this office as outstanding for providing all estate agency work at a competitive price.

I used the services of Robinsons’s Chester le St branch to sell a property. All the team Michelle, Karen, Chelsea and Michael were fantastic. The sale was quite difficult as the buyer’s solicitor was very slow but the team kept the pressure on and got the sale over the line for me. Robinson's were great from start to finish, from the initial valuation of our property right through to completion and moving. Sam was very friendly, polite and helpful, which persuaded us to go with Robinson's for our sale.All of the staff were extremely helpful in arranging viewings of our property, and also keeping us updated when potentially suitable properties came onto the market, and arranged viewings for us.The property we decided to (and eventually did) buy was for sale through Robinson's, and the communication between all buyers and sellers was excellent, and staff always responded to any queries very quickly and efficiently.As a completion date got closer, it became evident that the various solicitors employed by the people within the chain were not communicating with each other as accurately and expeditiously as they could have, which could have caused the whole chain to collapse (as the seller at the end of the chain needed to sell within a specific time frame). Julie from Robinson's was magnificent in ensuring that all of the solicitors were aware of the needs of individual buyers and sellers, and the time constraints involved, and she encouraged accurate and efficient communication between them, and both our sale and purchase got over the line. Thank you, Julie.We love our new house and have no plans of moving again any time soon, but I would have no hesitation of reccommending Robinson's to anyone wanting to move house.

I used Robinson Estate Agent as I found them to have no advertising fees and their price for completion was acceptable. I could not fault the staff at all and they were all extremely helpful. Their communication was excellent and we're in touch with any information they received. Angela was excellent with after sale and it was a pleasure to communicate with a very pleasant lady. I highly recommend Robinsons and will use them again if I ever need an estate agent .

Just bought a house from Robinson's and would highly recommend them to others.I registered my details as a prospective buyer back in February and had a friendly chat with them about what I required and the budget I had. Elaine, Becky and the team contacted me each time a new property that matched my criteria came on the market and arranged viewings quickly and conveniently. Many thanks must go to Elaine for her honest advice. I had read in the papers the market was moving fast but I didn't quite realise how fast. This made me feel uneasy as nobody wants to feel pressured into making one of the biggest choices of their lives but equally I didn't want to miss out on a perfect house because of my indecisiveness. When I last bought a house, I viewed it 4 times before I put in an offer! She listened to my concerns and kindly gave her thoughts on how I could proceed, based on her experience, which really helped to change my mentality, which was needed in order to be successful in the market at the time. Never thought I would be able to put an offer in after one viewing but when it came down to it, it didn't feel that scary at all because I was fully prepared for the viewing and had all my questions answered either before or during the viewing. I was over the moon when Becky rang to say my offer had been accepted.Once my offer was accepted, the Robinson's Team kept in touch with me regularly with updates and swiftly answered any queries I had. This part wasn't plain sailing unfortunately but I cannot fault the brilliant service I received from Robinson's. If it wasn't for Elaine's tenacity I think I still might be waiting for a completion date! She went above and beyond to ensure the whole chain didn't collapse after a couple of false starts which were out of her control.Thank you to you all for all your hard work and for finding me my ideal house. Just sold our late mother’s house through Robinsons Sedgefield. From the very start Ryan was the true professional. Totally understanding the emotional journey of selling the family home. He was there with support and kind words, explained the process thoroughly and we did not have to worry. He did a fabulous job of marketing the home, with great photos and video. Jaynie and Claire from Lettings were friendly, helpful and very approachable.Both gave us time and patience when giving information and when searching for properties that they thought we might want to view based on our likes and dislikes.It was evident that they were both organised and were able to fit short notice viewings in for us around viewings we had already booked with them earlier.Ken,who showed us around the properties, was very polite and informative and he went out of his way,during his own lunch break, to show us some of the local area,pointing out places where we could easily park and where we could get a coffee or something to eat.
