We had our rental property on the market ro sell with Taylor Robinson. We visited several agents when we decided to sell and Taylor Robinson were clearly the most knowledgeable agents. Although we have decided not to sell now, they had our property on the market for a couple of months and were faultless in their communication both with ourselves and our tenants. We had plenty of viewings and a couple of offers in the short time it was on the market, when the time comes we do have to sell or find another tenant we wont hesitate to go straight back to Tatlor Robinson.

We’ve had by far the best estate agents throughout our purchase process for our first home. Since the very beginning, Daniel has been a very polite and involved estate agent, keeping us informed about the property until we’ve got our offer accepted. Kelly then took over and she’s been such a professional agent, always answering to our inquiries and keeping the updates between us and the seller. Highly recommending her and for those who doesn’t have a Kelly, they should get one! 😁

STAY AWAY AS FAR AS YOU CANBen Cannon was extremely responsive when he first sought business. Once he had it I realised that Taylor Robinson didn't do check-ups as often as they claimed to and his assistant Clare Penfold seemed overwhelmed answering a few simple questions and was rather rude on the phone. During check-ups they failed to notice the 3-year-old looking brand new sofa as well as the chairs and the bedframe was getting destroyed by the cat that was supposed to be fully house trained. None of that was mentioned in the report and when I enquired about it, I got no response which wasn't a surprise. They never respond unless they must. Admin was below average to put it kindly. The tenant needed repairs on a monthly basis (on a new flat) and they never did any kind of remedy and just called a workman. That cost me more than the rent. On check out they failed to notice the tenant changed the locks even though I asked three times as the keys looked different. I was assured the locks remained the same. Upon returning on a Saturday, I couldn't get into my own property, of course I received no response and had to check into a hotel for two nights. Calling a dozen times Ben made no effort to have a conversation and still keeps the keys to my letterbox until this day. Oh, and the tenant stole items such as the hoover, ladder, microwave etc. which is, of course none of TR's concern. This whole tenancy has left my flat in tatters and months later I'm still working on repairs and replacements. I would have been better off not letting it at all. My advice is you stay away from Taylor Robinsons and find a decent agency that doesn't leave you traumatized.

My sister in law had a horrible experience with another estate agent and was recommended Taylor Robinson so switched to them instead, and they were fantastic! They were professional and friendly, got her a fantastic price for her house and made sure the sale went through without issue. Then, a few years later, I wanted to rent a property that was managed by Taylor Robinson and had an equally wonderful experience. I've been renting from them for a few months and they are easy to get hold of, helpful and fair. They seem to manage all the properties in my block and all the other tenants stop to say hi whenever they're there. Highly recommend for both sales and lettings!

I first made contact with Ben Cannon when I was looking to buy an investment property, we spoke on the phone and he made several suggestions about areas we had not thought of. Whilst trying to source a property to buy he kept in regular contact and gave advice on what repairs/alterations would need to be made and also potential rental value. Just bought our first place with the help of James and his team. I cannot recommend them enough, they are polite, kind and very helpful. The only estate agents in Crawley to talk to you openly and honestly. As an experienced tradesman that works alongside estate agents to sell new developments, it's very easy to recognise when someone tries to blag a sale and distract you from any failings. The team here were the polar opposite. Perfectly professional yet friendly at every turn, even offering their time and help advising us on the legalities of our tenancy agreement when our letting agents were being awkward. Dealing with James and the team has been a breath of fresh air and I am very thankful for all they have done for us.

Don't use these lying estate agents

Over a 5 week period, we viewed multiple properties and finally found one with Taylor Robinson. We put in an offer and the seller excepted. Everything was going fine, we had the surveyors ready, we had a mortgage on the new property and then our buyer pulled out, so we contacted Taylor Robinson to let them know the situation and that our estate agent was contacting the second bidder on our property as we spoke to see if they were interested, which they were. Within half an hour of telling Taylor Robinson. We had an email telling us that we pulled out and the seller wants to go with the second bidder. Alarm bells started ringing as there was no way James the Branch Manager could have called the sellers to let them know we lost our buyer, then contact the second bidder on the seller's property to get a confirmation, then go back to the seller and tell them that the second bidder was interested. So we contacted the sellers and spoke to them directly and this is where the truth comes to light. James lied to the seller telling them we pulled out and weren't interested in the property. Lied to us saying the seller didn't want us to proceed. Then we find out from talking to the sellers that Taylor Robinsons is selling the second bidder's property and they are buying the seller's property. Not only is James a liar but he will find a way to mess up an offer to his benefit. We are now going to the ombudsman as this estate agents need investigating

Thanks to Taylor Robinson for their support during a tortuous 5.5 month sale process, thanks to the solicitors of the purchaser!
