Reeds rain.

Reeds rain.. cowboy company that cannot be trusted. Very quick to make things happen when it suits them yet takes incredible amount of time getting through and dealing with issues. One thing after another.. blame landlord or blame letting agency for being slow? Boiler been out several months, once it was ‘fixed’ after returning 3 times to resolve the issue it then turned into a fire hazard and the best they can do is constantly delay it and avoid the matter. Everyday since I have moved into this apartment has caused me nothing but problems, problems they should’ve dealt with prior to moving in.. forcing me to deal with it and go out my way costing me my time, job and peace. Would not recommend. Lucky I still have a roof over my head for 2 stars.

I hold Lasting Power of Attorney and even though I produced documentation evidence, my request to halt the sale, due to my own ill health was ignored. I'd been handling ALL matters in relation to the sale of my Father's property. I was told by the above named 'we'll complete paperwork for your father'. These are LEGAL DOCUMENT. My father is in his eighties and cannot read and understand the written word on such documentation without a full explanation and understanding of what he is signing - which I was providing for him.

The Team at Reeds Rains Didsbury have been there for me even before I put my property on the market. Their support and guidance on market conditions and the industry was invaluable, they were honest and very helpful. Elly was my go to, she is outstanding. During the viewing stage their communication was excellent. Not just an auto email but regular calls to discuss progress and feedback. I'm delighted that my property has now sold, STC, and again, David the Manager called and his exact words "it's my job to help and support you through the sale now, i'll do everything I can to help". It’s all about the buyers, stuff the paying customer!!

I am writing this review from the vantage point of two separate house sales - our own home and assisting my parents house sale.All was good in the early stages of both sales until it came to sorting out a moving date and on both occasions (different estate offices) the clear priority was to only help the buyers and not give much (if any) help to the seller (the reeds rain customer who actually pays!). On both occasions we were bullied to meet the demands of the buyers, regardless of how ridiculous the time frames were being asked.During the day of our move we were constantly nattered by phone and text (7 calls) to see if we had left the property as the buyers were wanting to get in.If you are selling a home I would not recommend reeds rains one bit, in my experience they just added to the stress.

I can honestly say that Neil and his team at Reeds Rains have been fantastic with regards to how they have handled my house sale and purchase. They have always been informative, supportive and professional. They have given great advice and nothing was a problem for them. I have found they are very approachable and friendly. Having a local estate agent deal with your property sale/purchase may be a little more expensive than using one of the on line agents, however, being able to speak to somebody within a few rings, and be given sound strong advice, I felt has been invaluable and well worth the extra few quid. I would definitely recommend Reeds Rains Coventry A+++++

Reeds Rains helped us to sell our house. They were freindly but professional, and kept us in the loop at all times. They kept us apprised of how many people had viewed our property online, and provided a number of people who were interested in our house, arranging visiting appointments. We eventually sold our house for slightly under the asking price, as we wanted a quick sale so we would not lose the house were were interested in buying. That said, we got a darn sight more for our house than we paid for it in 1981! Thanks to Neil for driving the sale for us. Overall, my wife and I can recommend Reeds Rains to sell your house.

Couldn't recommend Neal and the team at Reeds Rains enough. We had a number of valuations from different estate agents and Neal really impressed us with his honesty and professionalism in regards to selling our house. Very impressed with their vetting process for viewings (no time wasters!) And the covid safety procedures made us feel confident when people were coming into our home for viewings. We sold our house quickly and relatively stress-free, and for over the asking price which was a bonus. Ours was a difficult house to sell for a variety of reasons but Reed Rains Coventry did not waver in their support of us an eventually a buyer was found. Yet again nothing done to sort my issue going on since MAY

Yet again introduced to someone who said they can help look at my issues that have been going on for months and so far they have done absolutely nothing, don’t reply they are so rude!!! Since May this has been going on, was meant to have rent increased in May said they can only do it in September! And guess what still not happened. Promised they would fix it and get back to me and nothing at all! No reply!! So so RUDE and have no interest in correcting their mistakes! Can’t afford my mortgage hence why we asked for a rent increase, since MAY this has been going on. Tenant was expecting new amount to be taken and reedsrains haven’t done anything at their end!!! SHOCKING stay away

If you want to waste your time on the…

If you want to waste your time on the market, recieve no support from the agent. Have them make up contracts. Never have staff to do viewings and end up taking your own photos of your property on your iphone and have them not let you leave them as an agent when you raise the issues. Reeds rains Hull is the agent for you.

Waste of Time

I used Reeds Rains to list my property, they were all singing and dancing with positivity but once I’d paid for ‘professional’ photography, I seemed to be forgotten about. (Photographer was rude too!) I didn’t get any viewings so was constantly chasing the office for updates. I had a friend put in an enquiry and they didn’t contact him for 10 days!!!!! Never answer their phones or emails. Was on the market for 4 months before I switched to another agency and the house was sold within a month. Staff clearly don’t care about the sale, more like they are incentivised to get the listing.
