GoogleMerrick and Binch were great when it came to buying our first home! David supporting us with the viewings and the team were very accommodating to any questions. Di and Sophie were both great at settling our nerves throughout the process and no question was too much and always on hand to support! Can’t fault the estate agents and would recommend to anyone selling or buying their homes!

Finding the right buyer was not easy but they never gave up. The sale went through without a hitch and I was kept informed of progress regularly. A difficult situation made bearable by a great team. I got a new job at the University and saw a property I was interested, advertised by this agent. Merrick Binch is an estate agent who I believe is unethical, unprofessional, and uneducated. My experience with the agent was nothing short of a nightmare. From the very beginning, Merrick demonstrated a lack of interest in my needs and seemed more concerned with making a sale at any cost. Throughout the entire process, I felt as though I was being treated like just another sale, rather than an individual with unique needs and preferences. This was particularly evident in the agent's one-size-fits-all approach to real estate, which left me feeling undervalued and unimportant. It was as though the agent had no interest in getting to know me, my preferences, or my budget. To make matters worse, Merrick Binch charged exorbitant fees for their services, which I felt were completely unjustified. The fees seemed to be a way for the agent to exploit me and extract as much money as possible from me. Despite attempting to question the fees, the agent was defensive and dismissive, which only served to reinforce my belief that Merrick Binch was unethical and unprofessional. The agent's lack of attention to detail and individuality further compounded my disappointment. I felt as though I was not being heard or understood by the agent, who appeared to be more interested in making a sale than in serving my needs. This lack of empathy and understanding only served to reinforce my belief that Merrick Binch was uneducated and unprofessional. To make matters worse, the agent provided inaccurate information about the properties that I was interested in. This not only wasted my time but also made me doubt the agent's honesty and reliability. The agent's lack of transparency and honesty was highly frustrating and disappointing to me, who felt that I was being taken advantage of. The agent's behavior was highly unprofessional, and their lack of empathy and understanding towards my needs was disheartening. "I recently had the misfortune of working with this agent, and I have to say it was one of the worst experiences I've had with a real estate agent. From the start, they were unprofessional and disorganized, failing to provide clear communication or follow up on important details. Throughout the process, I felt like I was doing all the work myself, as they were unresponsive to my questions and concerns. When it came time to negotiate on the price, they seemed more interested in closing the deal quickly than in getting the best possible outcome for me. But perhaps the worst part of working with them was their lack of ethics. They made promises they couldn't keep and tried to push me into signing a contract that would have left me in a vulnerable position. I had to fight tooth and nail just to get them to do what they were supposed to do. Overall, I would strongly recommend avoiding at all costs. They are unprofessional, unresponsive, and unethical, and they will only make your real estate experience more stressful and frustrating."

GoogleI have dealt with Claire on all my rental properties and she has found perfect tenants for house. They have all paid their rent on time and have left the house in decent condition. The office are great in setting up all the admin. I highly recommend Merrick Binch Estate Agents.

GoogleSeemed a nice lot. Found a large bungalow we loved, would have rented immediately, 3 young professionals all working in the area, good credit scores. Had to walk away as they wanted to charge £725 to reference us! Going rate for estate agents in the area is about £300-400 for the three of us from what we have found. We stated we would move on it immediately but we were told it was the estate agents owners new policy and they could not budge on it. Do wonder if the Landlord is aware his property is sat empty at least in part due to their fees.... EDIT: Just wanted to state, we wound up paying just £225 in the end in fees at another estate agent in the city.

GoogleI bought and sold with Merrick Binch all within 2 weeks. I was very impressed with the service, the team were all very friendly and helpful. Nick and Dianne were amazing and very knowledgeable throughout the whole process. The service provided exceeded my expectations and i would 100% recommend. I'm very pleased I decided to pay a little extra than i would have with the online estate agents, my experience was completely stress free and i put this down to the first class service.

GoogleI was recommended Merrick Binch by a friend who was selling at the same time as me and they were brilliant. They sold my house in 72 hours. Unfortunately my first buyer pulled out on us but within 3 days, Merrick Binch had sold my house again. Their after sales team were really good and chased my useless Solicitor every day until the sale was complete. I also found their fee to be very good for a high street estate agents. In short I am over the moon with the service we received and would not hesitate to use again or recommend! Special thanks to Nick and Di who sorted everything out!!
