Seemed a nice lot. Found a large bungalow we loved, would have rented immediately, 3 young professionals all working in the area, good credit scores. Had to walk away as they wanted to charge £725 to reference us! Going rate for estate agents in the area is about £300-400 for the three of us from what we have found. We stated we would move on it immediately but we were told it was the estate agents owners new policy and they could not budge on it. Do wonder if the Landlord is aware his property is sat empty at least in part due to their fees.... EDIT: Just wanted to state, we wound up paying just £225 in the end in fees at another estate agent in the city.

I was recommended Merrick Binch by a friend who was selling at the same time as me and they were brilliant. They sold my house in 72 hours. Unfortunately my first buyer pulled out on us but within 3 days, Merrick Binch had sold my house again. Their after sales team were really good and chased my useless Solicitor every day until the sale was complete. I also found their fee to be very good for a high street estate agents. In short I am over the moon with the service we received and would not hesitate to use again or recommend! Special thanks to Nick and Di who sorted everything out!!
