i can not express enough just how great Steve was when i needed somewhere to rent. I had separated from my husband and needed somewhere to live for me and my little girl. In what was already a very stressful time, Steve and his staff helped me arrange viewings that were convenient to me and took all the stress out of the paperwork and helped me find a new little home for me and my girl. I can't thank them enough as nothing was too much for them.

Praise where it's needed worked with Susie on a truly difficult chain without us working together the sales wouldn't have gone through . I cant praise Matthew James highly enough for the way they dealt with sale and purchase of properties for me. Susie in particular was excellent from the start going the extra mile and paying attention to detail. This resulted in not only my house being sold within 2 days of it going on the market but she also negotiated a price for my purchase which was way below what i offered. Through the whole process they have been on hand particularly Susie who was even available to sort issues out at 10.30 at night!! Matt too was always helpful and professional. Even after sale and completion they were on hand to deal with issues. Matthew James are definitely the best estate agents I've dealt with by far and certainly reccomend them. You will not be dissapointed!

We use the service of this company already several years (started with them when they were "Abode") and we are happy with them. Great management. We have support, help and guidance from them on all stages (from the most start and following stages of property letting). Especially we grateful for priceless support of Steve who always here for us. All other team is helpful as well. Our administrator Jake is always in touch with us for all inquires. Obviously any letting process goes through ups and downs and it needs control and efforts from landlords but it good to know that even if you will have some problems they will be solved effectively and efficiently together with your estate agency. I would recommend this letting agency "Matthew James Property Services" to everyone.

We found them to be very helpful with finding a place to rent. The staff were courteous and prompt, and went out of their way to help. We rented a property with abode for 10 months in 2012/13, and have recently moved out due to an up-sizing plan. From day one of our experience, Abode went out of their way to help us. They provided good viewings with prompt attendance, detailed information about the property and local amenities and helpful insights. The application process was straight-forward and professional, and the staff were always friendly and attentive. During our tenancy, we experienced a few maintenance problems with the property but Abode were always helpful and quick at sorting out a solution. I dealt with Aaron, Steve and Jake on different occasions and always found their customer service to be exceptional. When we were faced with some personal issues that prevented us from moving out on our arranged date, the team at Abode were calm and helpful in coming to an agreement with us. Having rented properties from 3 agencies on New Union Street in Coventry, I would recommend Abode as the best in all categories. Where others failed at being supportive, friendly and informative, Abode filled us with confidence at all stages of the tenancy. From customer service to attention to detail, Abode rank 10/10. Thank you for an enjoyable and stress-free tenancy, it was much appreciated!

Very unprofessional. The guy steve does not reply to you on emails or usually they don’t pick up calls. Apart from that they will not let you view the property and still if you confirm it and provide all the documentation they will just randomly text you on whatsapp the property is now gone. Because of these mis commitments and communications I had to live in Airbnb.

I've dealt with many letting agents in Coventry but Abode have been by far the best I've dealt with. They are proactive at dealing with requests and are available very quickly if there are any issues. My property (on Sewall Highway) has been excellently managed and I will continue to use Abode for many more years. If anyone is looking for a letting agent to manage their property then I couldn't recommend Abode highly enough!

Just adding one-star because without it I can't make this post. The level of unprofessionalism was even below the ground. It was "sub-subpar". It was abysmal. Please, find another agent like I did. It was so bad that at a point, I thought I had encountered scammers. The way the agent I was dealing with was intentional about not picking my calls or replying my texts... you'd think I did something offensive. The lack of communication was annoying. Anyone with anxiety issues should not bother with these time-wasters. Then again, everything turned out great when I got a different agent. It was zoom-zoom. I guess these people weren't supposed to be the ones I'd get my apartment from. P.S. If you contact an agent that is not forthcoming, please just find someone else. It probably means the agent is not for you. And you will find the place that is actually for you. This is the lesson my experience with this unprofessional agent taught me.

Agency is quite friendly, but had so many problems with the landlord during the viewing. First after viewing properties with him he says one price and tries to market with you, then promises cleanings and other arrangements will be done. When it comes to the real thing, wastes your time making excuses. If u want to save time and nerves try avoid this!
