Maison Estates is one of the best Estate agencies that I have come across. We met Jay on the first day that we went to view a property, he was friendly and polite and talked us through the application process. If you ever consider working with them, be sure to carefully review the contract and get all unclear aspects, especially vague fee statements, in writing. When checking in, make sure to meticulously mark and note every issue or defect you find, as failing to do so might result in them taking advantage and withholding a significant portion of your deposit. I strongly advise against working with Lee Durno and Gerda based on my first encounter with them. My first encounter with Lee Durno and Gerda was when we went to collect the keys after paying a substantial amount in rent and deposit. However, upon stepping out of the door, Lee and Gerda insisted that we couldn't leave until we paid the remaining balance of just 10 pounds, which was due to an accounting error. It was a freezing January day, and my daughter was unwell. Despite having an Uber waiting for us, they caused a scene and stressed us out over such a small amount. It's worth noting that they refused to accept cash for this payment. During the check-out process, Gerda attempted to overcharge us for various items such as redecoration (300 pounds really!?) and repairs for things that were already damaged when we checked in. I fought back, fortunately having documented everything meticulously, and won the deposit dispute. They were initially claiming around 1000 pounds, but I managed to reduce it to 359 pounds due to my comprehensive records.

Very well looked after by Maison Estates letting a house in Cannon Park. The particulars were well presented and having left a message expressing a keen interest over a bank holiday weekend I was swiftly called by Jessica on the morning of the first business day and a viewing was arranged. Some three weeks later referencing had been completed and we collected the keys. References were not entirely straightforward with my self employed status and my wife working for NHS. But we were well looked after and well guided through the whole process by Jay and Jessica. I started renting from Maison Estates in late 2021, and the process was incredibly streamlined. I viewed the property with Jay, who not only gave me a thorough description of the property, but also told me all the steps that would follow should I proceed with renting the property. Learning all of this information up front was not only incredibly helpful, but helped ease any worries I had about the application process. A special thanks to Gerda as well for being incredibly attentive during the move-in process and very helpful in answering questions I had about the property. I have been in this CV1 property for around a year, and any issue that has popped up has been dealt with swiftly, special thanks to Lee for his property inspections and kindness through any issues I had. Although I took out a 24 month contract, circumstances changed meaning I had to terminate my contract before it expired. I was very worried as I had never gone through a situation like this before, however Lee was very informative as well as compassionate, and broke down all the steps that would be taken. I was initially worried there would be some hostility, however I was only treated with the utmost respect and professionalism from all at Maison Estates, which took a massive weight off my shoulders. To conclude, I have only had an incredibly positive experience with Maison Estates, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent in and around the area. Although I have not had direct e-mail contact with all, I had the pleasure of meeting most of the team in their office and can attest to their kind, professional, and respectful manner towards myself.

The agent- Jay Patel was our guide to the house. He explained all details of the property during the viewing and was able to confirm that he had approved the application quickly. We had to wait for a month to enter the property, but we were made aware of this from start as the previous tenants were not moving until then.
