GoogleWhere do I begin? I should have realised from the beginning that these people are unprofessional and do not have the tenants best interest in mind. They lost all of our personal documents which is shocking, then made us drive back another 80 miles to provide them again. At the end of the tenancy they were rude and unhelpful to my daughter when she asked them to justify how they can let the landlord charge £600 Labour for general cleaning! I strongly advise any new tenants to stay away from this agent. What a disgrace! Awful manager who couldn't care less that we provided photographic evidence of the property being left in mint condition and told us to go elsewhere and dispute the deduction! These people should not be employed for a job like this.

GoogleI stayed at 4 Copperfield Road with Futurelets for two years and enjoyed it a great deal. The property and location were good value for money, right round the corner from an Aldi, Icelands, and a bunch of other shops and takeaways. The landlords were a pleasure to deal with and always responded in a timely or flexible manner to any problems we had. My deposit was returned without any issues the day I requested it and I'm glad to have lived there.

GoogleTruly awful service and lack of professionalism for the 'official' lettings agency for Cov Uni - The house that I stayed in for a year had many issues including rodent infestation; when I reached out to them via the complaints portal they emailed me saying that it can only be used for 'emergencies'.
Took me 2 months after my tenancy ended to get my deposit back - or what was left of it - as they claimed a ridiculous amount of cleaning fees even though I left the house cleaner than when I arrived.
If you are looking for a lettings agency with zero customer service and you enjoy being scammed, look no further - FutureLets is the one for you.

GoogleComplete an utter shambles.
The only thing they do is find you a house presides from that, theres little to no interest in the welfare of the tenants yet alone the state of the house. Had to wait 3 weeks after move in day for maintenance work on our house.
I suppose its a bit to much to expect a university organization
to put student tenant welfare first. As soon as you've paid rent in their eyes you no longer matter not at least until the next payment.
I'd advice try looking at private land lords rather then futureLets the likely hood is they'll treat you like valued tenants and not behave like a greedy corporate entity #futurlets.
Coventry University really ought to keep a closer eye on FutureLets if they did maybe they wouldn't have so many negative reviews.

GoogleNot the best Estate Agent, however they get the job done with finding you with accommodation. Perfect for first year students and second year students looking for houses for the Academic year. They have a variety of houses scattered all over Coventry and within close proximity of the University. Only reason why i gave this a low rating was based on personal experience in my house where we had problems with heating/hot water and internet. Overall a decent place to find accommodation but there are many other alternatives which in my opinion would provide a better sevice

Google*** I wish I had listened to the reviews on here, they are all completely accurate ***
I stayed here for my second year with a group of friends, and from start to finish was an absolute nightmare. We were told the DAY BEFORE we moved in that we needed to sign new paperwork to get our keys. Then to get our deposit back at the end of our tenancy took almost 2 months of back and forth between the landlord of the house and the people at futurelets passing the blame to one another as to who they were waiting for, very poor communication between the staff in the office, and also the landlords. It was a wild goose chase! Would not recommend, it's a pity they run most of the student halls in Coventry otherwise I would go back into halls for my third year.
*** Will definitely be going to Lettuce next year, have heard nothing but good reviews for these guys from other students! ***

GoogleFutureLets is the worst option of them all. The living conditions are ridiculous! The staff is ignorant and will not move a finger to fix anything until you leave the property - then they wouldn't fix it either, but they will deduct 1/3 of your deposit for something you haven't broken and has been a problem from the very beginning of your tenancy. The "reports" they write in the beginning of your tenancy about the condition of the house are also useless, and they simply ignore them when you try and explain you should not be paying for something you haven't done. So you freeze to death all year long because of a broken door they refuse to change, paying extra bills because of it, surrounded by mould, dirty walls and doors, and at the end you pay extra for that. No, thank you!

GoogleUnhelpful staff and still waiting for my deposit back, will probably never get it back. My whole room would sometimes smell of rotten eggs because there was a problem with the pipe work in my bathroom. I complained several times but never got a reply. The heating never worked. The house was advertised as being a ten minute walk from uni but was in fact a 30 minute walk. Anyway, don't make the same mistake that I and hundreds of other people made, just use another agency.

GoogleTerrible service and old rooms. Not able to sleep at any time of the day giving the fact that students are not respectful and play loud music at 1 in the morning on weekdays and that the structure of the buildings is old and the walls are thin. Not satisfied with the staff either and no possibility to move out of the room unless I find a replacement. Not worth the money. Very disappointed and feel ripped off.

GoogleIf there was a 0 star option, best believe I would've chosen that. Terrible communication, had to prematurely terminate my tenancy in Nov 2016 after only 3 months of staying in their property. Took some time for rent to be refunded, deposit still not refunded until now (June 2017). Communicated with one of the staff, Karolina for months with no satisfying response. Was always told she'd get someone to contact me, but never happened. Went into the office, reception staff gave me an email to contact, but turned out to be a wrong email. Not sure if done on purpose or not. Found out and contacted the right email (even then it took her a week to get back to me), but was told that the deposit was never even paid to or protected by DPS with the agency, but was paid directly to landlord. Can't believe it took them months to inform me that. Told me to contact landlord directly, but no contact info was provided (no response when asked) except for his name in the tenancy agreement..
Overall, terrible service, awful communication. -100/10 won't recommend

GoogleWorst agencies ever taken my £300 deposit didn't give me my accommodation and just to top it off the never help you resolve any problems you have and you have to do all the running around to find out where you even stand and they never ever answer the phone even thought they have plenty of departments which are full of employees yet they still can not YES CAN NOT answer a 5 minuet phone call and when someone finally picked up the phone we got passed around to department to department unbeliable and with in each department no one knows like they know what the hell they are doing. Been trying to sort my accomadation for almost 2 months yet i still don't have a place to stay when i am supposed to start in the next few days .WORST AGENCY EVER NEVER USE THIS AGENCEY THEY TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE AND DON'T HELP YOU OUT ONE BIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GoogleI was invited by Coventry University as a visiting researcher. I was recommended to apply to FutureLets. It was a real pleasure to get accommodation from them.
- very nice office in the centre of Coventry
- pleasant and helpful staff (Natalia, thank you very much)
- a large selection of accommodation options, either a student or a professor can find a suitable place to stay
- wonderful options in the historic centre of Coventry (we lived in a house of the 17th century)
- reasonable prices and convenient communication with the staff during the stay

GoogleI am really delighted to have chosen to contact futurelets as to my stay in Coventry. I came to Coventry university as an academic visitor and I was lucky to have found a beautiful room by applying through futurelets. The room along with the house were tidy, clean and had all the facilities. I really felt at ease. The owner of the house 'sucky' and the girl with whom I shared the house ' Khadija' were really kind.I want also to thank the project leader of futurelets ' Pasha Das ' for being nice and helpful; I will never forget your help and advice. If I come back to Coventry one day, I will choose Futurelets without hesitation to find me a place where to stay. The only thing I suggest is that if Futurelets provide visitors with tourist guides to get around in London and other places in the Uk, the service they provide will be perfect.

GoogleDO NOT EVER USE THIS AGENCY!!! They will rob you out of your money, and won't provide any accommodation ultimately. They will not ever answer your email or pick up the phone. You will be put on hold for eternity, and they will ask you to send them an email, which they have no intention to answer.
They wanted me to prepay for 6 months in advance without even providing me with a proper viewing. THEY TOLD ME TO PAY 2,400 POUNDS because I didn't have a guarantor. What a joke! I will never resort to their service again.

GoogleLet me just say this was the worst experience I've had. I was told by the landlord the room would be 350ppcm to which when I went to futurelets they tried to bump it to 375ppcm which of course I refused as the landlord and I agreed on 350, they later on agreed on this price although the landlord and I discussed TEN months which Futurelets say they only do 11months which is a fib because I had ten months last year, this agency is willing to do anything to pocket a little bit of extra cash and exploit students because they don't know what to do and seek help which is not what they do... Anyway as a normal agency would do they should have given me the contract to sign and look at before taking my money which they didn't. Although before this I had a lady called Amrita Randhawa who was handling my rental application, she was meant to change the dates and come speak to me, I sat there for fourth minutes and asked how long it would take to which the receptionist asked Amrita Randhawa and she responded "I completely forgot" at this point I'm already upset with the way things are being dealt with... Anyway, she amends the dates to which she was meant to put 2017 but she put 2016 for January and April and failed to be able to count the payments properly to get the full subtotal of rent, to which I had to correct her and her changing this on the application, I then handed her the money in cash to which she struggled to count £800 and had her colleague count it for her. Prior to all of this I was given the mangers number margret along with two of agencies number from futurelets to which I rang constantly for a week and heard nothing which resulted in me booking a train ticket to get things sorted as no one picks up the phone or knows what they are doing, so many issues with futurelets, my previous contract with them I had no heating for a week and water would get cut off... Anyway overall a very bad experience I wouldn't recommend them as they are unprofessional, unorganised and lazy... Their rating says it all...

GoogleFutureLets have very helpful officers and staff - they try to do their best despite the numerous requests they receive. In particular, Ms Natalya, with which i have cooperated most of the time while staying at one of the Coventry University Student Halls, is very proficient and organised to help everyone with their requests.
I had not that impression about FutureLets when i contacted them before relocating to Coventry - that was in July 2016 and my request almost got unattended despite sending various emails and calling the office from abroad. We needed to involve an entire operations team from another department to find a solution.
I would say that FutureLets would be even better a service if it had more staff to handle the requests of so many students, staff and visiting scholars that Coventry attracts the last years.

GoogleI couldn't sleep for a whole year thanks to future lets staying at one of their properties. Whilst viewing a property near a club I asked can you hear it at night? They told me you couldn't hear a thing if you shut the window. Turns out they lied to me as the windows block no noise whatsoever because they are badly made, much like the rest of the property and I can't sleep at night because of it. They also try to rip you off, charging over inflated rent prices so now i live on baked beans, brilliant!

GoogleThis agency is now run by the university and it might just be the worst thing that has ever happened to the uni. Every corner you turn the landlord looks to steal money from you, leaving you with no heating, wi-fi, mold and more and then blaming it on you. We had rats running through our kitchens and a freezing flat for months. Some reviews will remind you it's the landlords who are bad, not the agency - true, but what kind of university agency allows students to be entrusted with scamming landlords? The only good thing about this agency is Terry Davidson. You rock.

GoogleAbsolutely terrible. Was asked to book in a time to collect my keys, I did so five days in advance. When I arrived I was told they didn't have my keys and were about to go get them cut. I was told to come back in half an hour and they'd be there. Went back after half an hour and they still didn't have them. It's been over an hour and I'm still waiting for my keys. Awful, definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone.

GoogleThe worst letting agency every. Do not respond to e-mail and hardly ever pick up telephone.
As a mother I dealt with them when my son stayed in Coventry. Everything they make so hard and we are trying to get our deposit released from them via the DPS and they do not respond. I learnt that other students just given up in getting it back - BUT NOT ME I WILL TAKE THEM TO COURT
I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THEM OR FOR ANY LANDLORD TO USE WHILST RENTING THEIR PROPERTIES - BAD SERVICE ALL ROUND - Students left outside from what I was told - cards/keys don't work, no internet on first day even despite paying for it. They keep passing your around from the landlord to the Deposit scheme.

GoogleLANDLORDS TAKE NOTE...avoid future lets at all costs. They have no sense of urgency, totally incompetent administration and will lie to you to get you off the phone if you are lucky enough to actually get to speak to someone. There are a lot of other letting agents that have plenty of students after accommodation at much lower charges and much better service. No point listing all the problems but please be warned. Future lets think they have the monopoly.... I can promise you they do not.

GoogleI have been with FutureLets for 2 years now and they have always been quick to sort out any problems. The house we were due to have this year fell through and FutureLets worked with us to find us a new and better property that was brand new and fully refurbished. Since moving in they have been very helpful and have dealt with any issues we have had promptly. I would definitely recommend using FutureLets. Kam Uppal has gone above and beyond in helping us with the property we have now and she has done a fantastic job.

GoogleIf there was an option for 0 stars I would rate them 0. Absolutely appalling customer service. We have sent FutureLets many emails and called them multiple times, to which there has been no response or we have been told they will contact us 'later', which of course, never happens. Key collection was a hassle, and after moving in in September, we are still yet to have our full inventory. Our contract stated that we are paying bills included rent, and we were given the option beforehand as to whether we wanted to do so, or if we wanted to pay less and sort our bills out ourselves. Since moving in, we have received various bills and letters from debt collectors to say that we owe money (even though our house is bills inc!), but when FutureLets were contacted, they told us not to worry as they were spam. We then received a serious letter from British Gas and we rang FutureLets, who asked why we were worrying because we need to sort our bills out ourselves, as bills aren't included. We then went in with proof of our contract to be told that our landlord is unaware we are paying/covering the cost of bills and therefore they haven't been paying anything. Absolutely shocking communication, especially seeing as we have contacted them multiple times before and told not to worry. As well as this, we contacted FutureLets as our heating wasn't working, it then took them over a week to get back to us and for someone to come and look at it, whereas when our toilet seat was broken, someone came in within an hour!(?!). So disappointed at how FutureLets are too busy focussing on their portfolio rather than student and customer satisfaction.

GoogleIf I could rate this company 0 stars I would.
Utter incompetence, messed around and treated like a child. All my details lost and no information provided on the move in day, never turned up to booked viewings, bad phone manner and for some reason only one member of staff had access to my details, so when they where not in the office I was effectively invisible to anyone else. No one seems to communicate within the company. Emails are ignored, phone calls are never followed up on. Everyone I have spoken to speaks extremely lowly of this company, however not many people warrant enough time to even give them a review, so I speak on behalf of everyone when I say avoid this company at all costs. So many other viable and reputable companies available.
On top of everything, they never protected my deposit and I had to argue and fight to even have it returned. If you have used this company in the past please double check to see if they even protected your deposit too, as it is illegal to not do so, and with enough pushing I got compensation for their many many mistakes that they admitted to.
NoFutureInTheseLets.
