Met with Richard the Valuer. Liked his approach and the plan he laid out for the sale and they did exactly what he said. On the market a week , then an open day. Offers by the next day. Price agreed and Sale completed in less than 3 months and we had a slight delay because I was selling under A Power of Attorney for a family member. All the staff from initial phone enquiry to completion were excellent. I recommend them and would certainly use again.

Brilliant service from their financial service, would highly recommend. I was looking at using an independent advisor with my search to start looking for a property as a first time buyer. The staff were helpful and offered me the benefits of using their in house services which saved me a lot of money, time and effort and the advice showed me how much I needed to save and what I needed to do to be in a financial position to buy my first house. Would highly recommend this branch

All the staff were really helpful, from Richard giving me contact details for a gardener and advice about how to best present my house to Claire supporting me through some issues with my solicitor I've received top quality service. I'm sure Claire's influence got me to completion at least 2 weeks sooner than I would have otherwise managed. When choosing an estate agent I didn't realise how important their input was after the offer has been accepted so I didn't search based on the right things, but I lucked into an awesome team and wouldn't have chosen anyone else.

Professional, efficient and friendly service. All the staff at the Rainham Branch of Bairstow Eves have been outstanding and a pleasure to deal with.I originally used a lesser known estate agents, who did have cheaper fees, but I received a very poor service and consequently with no sale of my property. You really do get what you pay for.Being very apprehensive with estate agents in general, I decided to give Rainham (Essex) Bairstow Eves branch a try.They were absolutely brilliant and I cannot fault any of their staff.Thank you, Chris and your first class team.

KEEPING MY 3500 GBP (deposit & partial rent) for no reason

Partial rent & deposit is still not paid to me in more than 100 days after leaving the rented property on 31st March 2024. I had to leave the rented property early to move to mortgaged house. I have paid them 1500 GBP their non-sense early contract exit and property ad fees; still they are shamelessly keeping my partial rent (paid rent for full month April) and deposit of 2000 GBP, which is nearly 3500 GBP. I was not expecting their service to be the worst in the market. I am going to report to property ombudsman for sure. NO ONE SHOULD USE THEIR DISGUSTING SERVICES.

What a year! Richard first visited the property and organised the photographer and listing of the house and explained the marketing strategy with great enthusiasm and professionalism, giving us grear confidence in the process.  The house was due to be put on the market just as Lockdown 1 occurred. As we live outside the UK Richard contacted us prpmptly and explajned rbe situation. Fast forward to end of May and Richard contacted us again to proceed with the listing, - we agreed a sale within one week of the house going on the market. Then the fun began with involvement of solicitors, I honestly think writing this review in January (having finally completed just before Christmas) without Claires constant chasing of updates and smoothing out of several slight bumps in the.road so efficiently and professionally we would still not have completed! Claire worked so hard to get the sale completed despite the difficulties presented by Covid, my living outside the UK and constant changing of solicitors within the firm we had instructed. I cannot recomment Claire Richard and the Team highly enough and we would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to family and friends.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I was delighted with the service and the fact that the house sold in what amounted to a day. The reason for 4, rather than 5 stars, is that I was surprised at the suggestion that, in addition to the sale fee, I should pay an extra £100 for every £1,000 they negotiated upwards - something that anyone would have assumed was part of their job and covered by the sales fee.

Excellent service from Inception to Completion with knowledgeable and experienced staff. If you prepare and stage your house correctly for selling, it’ll sell immediately. Bairstrow Eves (Radford Coventry) had a string of people lined up for a block viewing and my house sold immediately (in 1 day!) with 3 offers, 2 of which were above the asking price. I would advise everyone to avoid …

I would advise everyone to avoid Bairstowe Eves Great Barr. We received very poor disorganised service in our case. It all started badly with them getting our property mixed up with another! It ended badly with it taking 5 months to sell to our very keen cash buyer. When this same property was purchased in 2003 it was all done in less than two and a half months, obviously Bairstowe was not involved.

Wish I used an alternative agent.

Most expensive agent we had come to assess our property. Did the bare minimum at every step of the way and were not helpful in any way imaginable. Did not want to get involved in anything and we were left to do our own sales & purchase progression while paying a hefty premium for the privilege. My advice would be to avoid Bairstow Eves and use a cheaper agent, while you'll still have to do a lot of the legwork yourself, you'll save yourself thousands of pounds.

Moved out of a rented property 29/07/2024. Chased and chased for updates about my deposit being returned only to keep being informed we are awaiting details from the landlady. According to my tenancy agreement I should have been informed within 10 days of any ‘proposed’ deductions. 3 weeks on and no further forward. If I was in breech of the tenancy agreement they would be quick to act but when it’s the other side.. nothing!

One of worst letting agent

One of worst letting agent , they don’t have any ethics, they just need money 💰, worst customer service, we got a flat for rent in worst condition, they gave without cleaning, used toilet didn’t even flush , really shame on them, when we gave a complaint they didn’t even apologise, and flat is also worst condition, it needs to refurbish but gave for rent. Full of oily kitchen, got shocked after seeing bathroom. Owner will not pick calls, this letting agent will not take responsibility, but they signed on behalf of owner on the agreement. But surely I will not leave them, I’ll post in every forums.
