Claire was incredibly helpful, clear, and communicative from start to finish. Poor quality viewings and service

The Clapham branch sales negotiator was late for the viewing and didn’t ask anyone from the office to notify us (15 minutes late). He had also double booked the appointment, the entire booking was a bit of a disorganised mess. There was a fair bit he wasn’t aware of and generally wasn’t that helpful. The specifications I gave weren’t followed in the viewings. I was ignored when asked if I wanted a broker and my contact information was shared when I had asked for it not to.

Waste of time

Talk the talk and that’s about it. We are with Coventry city branch. The keys handed over 26.2.26. Still not advertised on rightmove or their own website We specifically said we want a quick sale. I spoke with Ryan Tuesday 10.3.26 who said it would be on both sites within 24/48 hours. This did not happen. I called again Friday 13th he said Trevor was busy so it would be Monday/Tuesday and I said this was not good enough He said he would call me back … no call. I lefts a message later the same day but again no response. I left a message Saturday and no response. It’s now Monday 11.26am and no response. So many other estate agents therefore I recommend you avoid these. We will be contacting other estate agents now as I am told we can add another agent so they had no competition to sell and now they may have. Also the house has been removed from their website and rightmove with no discussion. Just waiting on a call back for an explanation

Absolutely disgusting service

Absolutely disgusting service, they come across very professional when they value the house, but once its on the market the staff are unhelpful and take days to answer emails. The details were incorrect online as it was put live without us agreeing the details, the pictures were awful and the one thing we did make them change. There has been no effort to sell the house, only having one viewer in two months. Only to find out that the contract is for 4 months too, devastated. Stay away from this company.

I would 100% recommend Bairstows especially in Coventry, I’ve used lots of estate agents, but i’ve never known such commitment from all the agents, they do everything in their power to ensure the sale or buy completes, nothing is too much trouble, from viewing to completion their approach has been exemplary, mine was handled mainly by Gemma, Samantha, and Clare, but from the initial viewings signing up, to the selling/buying process, everyone has been so proactive, I simply cannot fault them, they are heads above anyone I’ve ever used before, their prices are similar to everyone else but the level of service is consistently excellent, if you are thinking about who to choose I have no hesitation in recommending Bairstows, A huge thank you to them all.

I used Bairstow Eves in Radford for the sale of my property and it was worth every penny. They really are second to none and nothing was too much trouble for them. Claire and the girls in the office (too many to name) went above and beyond to make a tricky sale happen and kept me informed every step of the way. Claire and her team liaised with all parties in the transaction and reassured us when we thought we weren't going to progress with our onward sale. I cannot thank you all enough to the support (emotionally as well as professionally) whilst we were going through the most stressful time. DO NOT TRUST BAIRSTOW EVES, Property Rented Without a Valid Licence

I am writing this to warn other families. My family and I have experienced nothing but stress and chaos since renting a property through Bairstow in May 2026.After moving in, we discovered to our horror that the property was let without a valid property licence. When we raised this serious legal issue, the agency completely absolved themselves of responsibility, blaming the landlord. Under UK housing law, letting agents have a strict legal duty to verify and ensure proper licensing is in place before letting a property.The customer service at this branch is shockingly unprofessional. Particular staff members, Mehmet, Rejaul, and Exene, are completely evasive. They take weeks to respond to emails and refuse to answer the phone. On the rare occasion we do manage to speak to them over the phone, they make empty promises to send over details, only to go completely silent and ignore all subsequent emails.Avoid Bairstow at all costs if you value your peace of mind and legal safety. They take your money and completely abandon their legal obligations.

We recently used Bairstow Eves Radford branch to sell our house. Gemma arrived to value the property, we agreed a valuation and Gemma had it advertised and on line within 2 days. We weren't expecting a lot interest being December with Xmas just weeks away.To our surprise an offer of just under the asking price was offered and we accepted after only five days. The next three months were quite stressful due to various problems within the chain and the usual laid back attitude of the conveyancing profession. Claire Dawes had been assigned to deal with our sale through to completion and was absolutely marvellous at chasing solicitors and was miraculously able to solve issues that appeared to be beyond other professionals involved. All issues resolved we eventually moved into our new home in Wales in April. Our thanks to Gemma, Claire and the rest of the team who provided great communication and professionalism all with calmness and great humour in a very high pressure situation. We traveled 50mins to see a property because we were considering to travel the distance. The Coventry branch wouldn’t pick up and the vendor was kind enough to show us around. I have since had no call back to check for feedback. When we went to see another property previous to this I was told by that vendor that there was a delay from this estate agent (I ended up booking the viewing with another) but I was told by the vendor I was the “same woman” so far I’m shocked at their service and frankly it’s put us off from wanting to move to their area. Buying a house through Bairstow Eves & they have all been great from the start. Especially the in house mortgage advisor Michaela Milton! She has been absolutely incredible with securing us a mortgage, we have had a few hurdles along the way and she has always kept going and finding solutions until she got us our mortgage, she puts so much time and effort into her work and has been a life saver with ours!
