My son has just rented his first property. What an absolute nightmare it was for him, very stressful and disheartening. My son viewed over 20 plus properties, completed paperwork and hardly ever got a response. That was until he dealt with Joe Sharman at Bairstow Eaves Coventry. We've been very happy to have Bairstow Eves as our rental agents for the last 4 years. From the first appointment at the property with the agent, to picking up the keys and having them deal with the renewals, inspections etc over the years, there haven't been any issues. When we have had to raise things (like garden fence blowing over in bad weather), they've been courteous, efficient, have liaised with the landlord and neighbours etc and it's easy to raise things via the Fix Flo site. We have recently given our notice and it's been easy to deal with them regarding this, especially Joseph S who has been handling the end of our stay at our current property. Would definitely recommend Bairstow Eves for property in Coventry.

We have used Bairstow Eves to manage our property for many years. All the staff have been wonderful. Recently we had a problem tenant and Joanne and Rebekah were superb with their pro-active support. Since then, Joe has been exceedingly efficient in finding us new tenants in a very small amount of time and guiding both parties through the paperwork (including very politely reminding me when I needed reminding!). All the staff are lovely to deal with and have worked very hard on our behalf. Six stars!

I have been looking for house on zoopla and came accross few properties which belongs to bairstoweves,intially they were saying viewing are unavailable then later on they don’t even answer phone and when they answered they were showing properties only which they want to show and not one we want or shown available.One of the most vulnerable experience staff don’t care they don’t come back to you i would never want property from them

Stacey Carr is super nice and a wonderful property maintenance manager, and Dal Bains managed to sort out my issue within 24 hours after the landlord was not very helpful in dealing with my requests. I have been informed that my property is owned by a company and therefore poor communication from them to certain members of the branch, so i reccomend you try to find out who owns the property before entering a contract with them as bad landlords can cause bad experiences.

Definitely find a better estate agent

A few weeks ago I received a telephone call from a young member of staff at Bairstow Eves. He asked me if I was interested in selling my property. I told him no. I had bought it through them funnily enough and had just spent four months renovating it. He suggested I have a valuation despite my saying I didn’t want to sell. Eventually I agreed because I thought it would be good to see what it was worth now it had been renovated. Two text messages and a long and detailed email confirming that the manager was looking forward to meeting me at my property later that week at 12:30. She didn’t turn up and when I telephoned, I was informed that it was a desktop valuation, despite the fact that I had a an email telling me the valuation would be at my property. Having dealt with them when I bought the property and having them not bothering to respond to my email to express my dissatisfaction that they hadn’t bothered to come and do the valuation, I would never ever deal with them again. I think they are a shabby organisation and there are much better estate agents to deal with.

My past experiences of using estate agents for house purchases or sales have never been positive. That is until now. Our transaction was fairly simple as we had a first time buyer buying our house and that was the end of the chain. I found communications excellent. Never any delays. Always helpful. Always on time. We have been searching for the right property and we met Christopher Barbour who is a Mortgage Consultant, words cant describe how fantastic Chris has been over the 2 years we been with him. Chris was suppose to just sort a mortgage deal out but he still remained with us through out the whole journey sorting and advising regarding queries outside his field when needed. We went through so much but Chris has always given us his extra support even outside his working hours and has always been there for us until we got the house we wanted. Rented a property from Bairstow Eves from start of February viewing with Faye was fantastic and straightforward instantly wanted the property. Took a visit to the office and dealt with Jordan great customer service and was really helpful couldn’t fault anything with the service from either Faye or Jordan. Only thing stopping me giving a 5 star and letting Bairstow Eves down was the service from countrywide responsible with maintenance issues not very good at handling on that side and wasn’t happy with service from one member of staff.
