We traveled 50mins to see a property…

We traveled 50mins to see a property because we were considering to travel the distance. The Coventry branch wouldn’t pick up and the vendor was kind enough to show us around. I have since had no call back to check for feedback. When we went to see another property previous to this I was told by that vendor that there was a delay from this estate agent (I ended up booking the viewing with another) but I was told by the vendor I was the “same woman” so far I’m shocked at their service and frankly it’s put us off from wanting to move to their area. I have been calling Cannock office for…

I have been calling Cannock office for weeks trying to get a viewing of a house but they do not answer. I have emailed and left voice messages to no avail, I guess I won’t get to view that house then?! I have heard they are going into liquidation which could be the reason, either way it is not a good service. Good luck to those selling their houses with them, you might want to review your contract and use elsewhere!

Disgusting letting agency treating people like they are nothing. If you do end up dealing with Chloe Jones I wish you a good luck as she has no people skills and she is pretty simple and struggles to understand the basic. My advice is to stay away from this agency! In attachment are photos of the property they rented to me and refused to take a reponsibility!!!

I have bought and sold house so I am no novice. The house I was selling this time was my mothers. Therefor we as a family were still grieving. Information was sparse, not clear and if we had all the information we should have had we would not have accepted the offer and kept the house on the market. I felt the company was not working for us. I have spoken with B Eves but got nowhere. I would not use them again, very disappointed

My experience with this letting agency…

My experience with this letting agency was extremely disappointing. I paid a holding deposit for a property and expected clear communication throughout the referencing process. Unfortunately, I received very little communication and had to repeatedly contact the agency myself to find out what was happening. What I found particularly disappointing was that I was not contacted to be informed that my referencing had failed. I only found out after I personally managed to get through to them. My calls were not being answered, and I eventually had to call from a different number before someone answered. The manner in which the situation was handled also left me feeling that I was not treated with the level of professionalism or courtesy I would expect from a letting agency. I am now trying to resolve the issue regarding my holding deposit. I understand that referencing can sometimes be unsuccessful, but I believe applicants deserve clear communication, timely updates and respectful treatment throughout the process. Overall, I am very disappointed with my experience and would encourage anyone considering using this agency to make sure they fully understand the holding deposit terms and what happens if referencing is unsuccessful.

I recently moved into a new flat and Charlie at Bairstow Eves was brilliant throughout the whole process. All of the coordination, updates, and problem-solving, that was Charlie. When someone else dropped the ball on the gas safety certificate, he stepped in and got it sorted quickly. He kept on top of shifting timescales between me and the landlord, always keeping things moving and keeping me informed. Genuinely helpful, proactive, and easy to deal with. Good chap. Very unprofessional rental agent

Very unprofessional rental agent. Very doggy. Said I failed my reference when after just 2 days. I provide 2 bank details which one was my salary account and they intentionally did use the salary account. Came back and said the other accounts doesn't have trace of income.They told me the Landlord is going with someone else. Please for anything you do, don't use them except you want to lose your holding deposit or they might make life a living hell for you even if they give you the house. They can do anything for money these lot.

I have used Bairstow eves to manage my property

I have used Bairstow eves to manage my property for the last two years. However the deliverables that were set out when signing the agreement were not met, from increasing rent annually according to market rent, to making sure that licenses were in place throughout the two year let. I have both times went out and got the gas certification and then sent it over to them myself, this was a managed service and Ideally they should have provided this service if not a reminder at least. 3 months ago, I had asked for Bairstow eve to cancel my contract so I could manage the rental myself. After emails back and forth and now being ignored I am still being charged for an expensive service which I no longer want. I would not recommend the management service as it is pointless, collecting rent and their charges seems to be the only thing they are good at, which seems to be a centralised process rather than dependent on the branch it self.

One of the best State Agents in Town. I had some issues with other state agents in the past, so when I was looking for a property to rent, something I always wanted was a highly rated state agent. I have been living in my property for 6 months and has no issues at all. I just had an issue with my bathroom light, they have a dedicated website to report any faults and I reported it and within two days an engineer came and fixed it. I would say their service is outstanding so far and also my landlord is also seems to be a very nice person, he approves everything quite fast. Thanks to Sharon who coordinated everything very efficiently. I would like to thank Josh and Fae too for their very good support from the beginning up to now. I usually dont write reviews, but their service was really good compared to my previous experiences hence thought I should appreciate their work. End of Tenancy Update: 27.09.2023 My Tenancy came to an end on 5th Sep 2023. There was some concerns with respect to the state of the property at the end, abd the landlord had decided to deduct £270 from me, which I was not responsible for. Deposit Specialist -Portfolio Manager, Ms. Ana was the officer who was handeling my deposit return process, and after providing with all the evidence she acted promptly and professionally and had negotiated with the landlord and returned my Deposit in Full. Overall, my experience with this agency was a good one. Specially because, if you have any issues, they will listen to you and do their best to resolve any issues. Highly recomend this agency for your property renting.

We rent our very first property in UK through Bairstow Eves, they are always helpful in finding rent houses that suit our needs. We are in the current property since a year now and have had a few issues which I reported to property manager through email. Our portfolio manager Eilish is doing a wonderful job and has been incredible in checking with landlord and resolving them as early as possible. I would highly recommend Bairstow Eves.

My partner and I rent a property through Bairstow Eves and have always found the process very easy. We have been in our current property almost 6 years now and have had a few issues in this time, the issues themselves were quite straight forward to report using there system. Our portfolio manager Dawn has been incredible the past 2 times we have issues, within a couple days (normally 1-3 depending on the problem), the issue has either been resolved or we have an engineer/contractor booked. Despite our landlord being sometimes difficult to reach Dawn has never given in easy and always tried to make sure the problem was resolved in a timely manner. Everyone at Bairstow Eves has been lovely to deal with, I, myself has some learning difficulties and can sometimes get frustrated when talking/trying to explain things but everyone we have come across understands this and has so far treated me with dignity and tried to make things a little different. I would highly recommend Bairstow Eves for all aspects of your property needs, it doesn't seem that any problem/criteria you may have would be any kind of an issue.

Coventry branch offer the best service, Thanks I would like to say that selling my house was easy, but it wasn't. The house sold within 24hrs . Fell through and then the Team, especially Trevor, got it straight back on the market, sold the next day and we completed within 7 weeks ! Thanks Trevor x Right from the beginning , from the sales team to the agents, we were looked after very well. Harry and James , now this pair , what can I say , they are fantastic ! They made all the paper work stuff very easy to navigate, cheeky with great smiles. Also very good at what they do. Very professional. I also had some nice conversations with Ramona and not forgetting Trevor, without Trevor I am sure things would not have progressed so easy. Great team and brilliant comms from them. So here is the not so nice bits, pricing was very high , but you get what you pay for. So we are happy. Thank you everyone for your hard work and constant updates, we would definitely use them again if and when we buy or sell.

Very poor communication & unprofessional experience. I would not recommend using the Cannock branch. Lack of dedicated service to sell a property when we are the paying customers, no faith in them doing anything they say, if you can get in touch with them the right person will never be there and they will be blame it on someone else.
