Both sold and purchased a house last year with Sherry Fittgerald, Stuart O'Grady handled both processes and was extremely professional throughout. He was very accomodating in getting us accesss to the purchased house so that we could take measurments etc. I coudlnt fault him and calls if not answered immediately were always returned promptly. Unfortuntely I have to take away one star as the person who replaced Stuart when he was away on annual leave was frustrating to deal with; turned up late to our open house leading to some embarrassed viewers and was unprofessional.

Very Poor responses.. Would not recommend this builder. Once you get signed a deal for new home or contract, Sherry fitzergerald wont take any responsibility.. they will just ask to tie in builder. In which Builder wont respond nor cooperate for anything ... Even if there is delay in lead time, They are least bothered. Since its a big company, People or point of contact gets changed very often and you loose all previous communications... Not at all happy dealing with sherry Fitzgerald... Sent email per response below.. No action till now.. My very simple question, How do you sell a brand new house nearly half a million worth ,without a simple door canopy.. which is a very basic functional part of house.. As it was very rainy, The water flooded inside house the very first day of getting keys.. Very very bad…

We as a customer we have right to know…

We as a customer we have right to know what is the reason for unsuccessful. I have applied for more than 10 houses not even one I got a viewing. I understand there is a huge demand and applications. But I have applied at the very first moment it is posted. We are a full time working with clean record and I have mentioned it to them in my intro. I really don't understand how transparent they're in this process. It leads to doubts of internal dealings and unfair procedure. I appreciate you technology of automated process but when customers are spending time to fill in details and showing serious interest. Isn't your options to take your time in reviewing the application fairly to give an opportunity for the serious applicants.

We heard that Sherry FitzGerald was a professional company, but how far from the truth was this. We sold our residential property with them. They found a buyer, but at this point everything went so wrong. A member of staff gave the potential buyer the key and let them enter the property unsupervised. We were unaware of this until we got a call from a neighbour stating the potential buyer had moved a static caravan into the rear garden by craning it over the roof. At this point the potential buyer had no insurance in place, they damaged the interior of the house and they were planning on living in the static caravan rent free before the contract was exchanged. The staff at Sherry FitzGerald did nit check the property to ensure this did not happen. You can imagine the extra stress this put on the seller as the interior of the property had been destroyed and there was a static caravan in the rear garden. If the sale had fallen through, I would have been in a world of pain as it would be up to me to put the house back to being sellable again. The directors of Sherry FitzGerald were concerned, not for the customer, but their business. We had nearly two weeks of stress and getting extra engineer reports completed. I would not recommend their services.

Extremely unprofessional!!!! I was told that a viewing will be arranged with the prospective tenants and then I was completed ghosted. All my emails went unanswered. If the house was given to someone else, then the same can be updated to the people who expressed interest in the property!! Edit: They reached out to me later on and gave me an update on the same. They were apologetic and tried to rectify things which is what customer service is all about. Kudos to them for that!!

Unprofessional and very disappointing

My property was a new townhouse in a very sought after attractive area. When I enlisted my property with SF they promised they had a database of interested customers and my house will sell quickly. I was under the impression that the size of SF would work for my benefit but I turned out to be wrong. I was "just another customer". There was no personal touch or effort put into selling my house. In fact they brought the digital team to do the marketing piece a day AFTER I moved out, when the house was a total mess and without staging anything - showing the house "as is" (and actually worse). At one point the agent advised me to sell the house at a lower price than the one THEY recommended to list the property under. So either they overpriced the property or they didn't deliver! Either way I found their service very unprofessional and very very disappointing.

Instructed Sherry Fitz to sell my home this year - just after the post-Christmas lock-down.The environment was uncertain and stressful. Their quiet competence and confidence was just great. We worked out the pre-sale spending budget, and they were active with meeting my requirements. The standout for me was when there was a bump in the sale path, they were proactive and honest. They also behaved very ethically when dealing with the bidders which I found comforting. Overall, I can't imagine talking to a different agent when selling again. I dealt with Barry Ensor and Andrea Whelan in Rathmines office.

We recently purchased a property with Sherry Fitz. Prior to purchasing we were looking & bidding on other properties. During this time we came to know Johnny O'Flynn in the Cork office. He was absolutely amazing to deal with, went above & beyond his duty multiple times - often taking calls / texts from both my wife & I while on holidays. Post purchase, on multiple occasions he arranged access to the house for us, giving up his own time to work in his car while we discussed plans inside. I would 100% recommend Johnny & Sherry Fitz. Johnny made everything easy for us - they say buying a house is one of the most stressful times - they didn't deal with Johnny. Fabulous service. The only sadness is I've nothing to pester Johnny with anymore.
