The whole team at Finest were wonderful to work with. From valuation; listing; managing viewings and offers through to sale, everyone made the process easy. They were incredibly professional and responsive, and are just very lovely people to boot who we felt really cared about us and what we were doing. Lucy, Joan, Dean and Lynn were all so nice. Finest Properties have been my go-to property agency since 2015. First buying from them when we moved into Northumberland. We later sold that house through them in 2016 and bought our next home, South Hall. When we decided to sell South Hall (2020/21), the obvious choice of agent to manage this was Finest Properties. Once again, their service was excellent, and they professionally managed the process from start to finish. I can't recommend them highly enough and would like to give a special mention to Joan Evans, who has been fantastic.

The sales and marketing side were both excellent. However, I was less than satisfied with Finest’s actions thereafter. I believe the interests of the buyer - who, by their own admission, was a friend - were given priority over mine, the seller. In fairness, they agreed a modest reduction in their already high fee, but the poor impression remains. This may have been an unusual situation, but I would be careful to flush out any such interests before committing with Finest Properties. After Note. It is over a month since I wrote this review. While later posts have received replies, it is striking that this one was quietly ignored. That, plus Finest’s offer to reduce its fee reinforces my suspicion that his professional integrity may have been squeezed in my case.

We had been searching for somewhere to rent around Hexham and were surprised and disappointed by the lackluster (and sometimes zero) response we received from some agents. Not so Helena from Finest. She responded instantly to our enquiry, and over the course of a day (and 27 mails!) I felt like I had found a friend who actually wanted to help. She facilitated my viewing of our chosen property when I visited from overseas and continued to provide help and advice as we finalised the deal. Didn't show up to viewing, didn't contact us, didn't answer the phone. Edit: I've double checked once seeing the reply to my review. This is the correct estate agents. We called the office whilst standing in the rain, only voicemail. We called the number given to us, no answer. We only got a call (from the property manager, not even the estate agent) after we left the property to say that the property is unviewable on weekends. I certainly wouldn't take 'pride' in leaving buyers on doorsteps. I do now question how many other reviews you've had removed and we won't be persuing the property with you.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
