GoogleI would say that Jo the Progressor was ace. Jo kept everyone on track and kept me informed all the time. On the sales side, I found myself in a less than ideal situation on a ground rent issue due to incorrect information. However, I believe this was the sellers issue really. Generally a very good experience.

GoogleI recently bought a property in Colchester through Michaels. My experience with Michaels has been fantastic. As a first time buyer, I was a bit unsure what to expect, but Jo and the other staff have been very efficient throughout the process. They kept me updated and answered all my questions clearly. This took a lot of stress out of the experience. I would use Michaels again and I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

Even though we moved to the UK recently we were treated very warmly specially us being Asians it ment a lot. At first is was Sam who accompanied us to see the flat who was very help full. Later rhys helped us to finalised every thing very patiently. I would recommend them any day any time. Thank you very much for all the help given us to get my renting finalised.

GoogleWent to purchase a property had paid the deposit and almost waited a year for the exchange because one little helmet Mark Everad had me under the impression that he had applied for my mortgage when he had actually done nothing at all, I had to keep chasing kept getting a lie after lie and then he said he didn’t even do it in the end which made me lose the right to buy that property. And Michaels estate agent still made me pay for all the legal fees even though it was the company’s fault. Very unprofessional would avoid the at all cost. Would give them a 0 star if it was possible, absolutely useless.

GoogleAfter being let down by a seller several weeks into a purchase, we resumed our search and registered with almost every agent in Colchester. Far and away, the most helpful and proactive agent has been Michaels, with particular praise for Josh who regularly contacted us with details of new (or potential) instructions he felt we'd be interest in, and he really paid attention to what type of property/ location we were searching for. Although we have now placed an offer with another agent, should this property not complete, Michaels (and Josh) will be the first agent we contact.

GoogleThis was my third time round using Michaels as an agent. And I will go back a fourth time! Straight forward conversations, honest, flexible and responsive. What more could you want from an estate agents? Michael Bickmore has always been on hand to respond to me at the drop of a hat, and this excellent customer service flows through the rest of the team. In comparison with other estate agents i have engaged with through sales or on behalf of other family members, Michaels always shines through. They know who you are when you call, they respond to you in a timeley manner, they are respectful of your busy life and are flexible around that with contact, they hold honest conversations with minimal "estate agent BS", and are clear in descriptions of things I didn't always understand. Highly recommend

GoogleHands down the best agency in Colchester. Despite the pressure on the market and the buyers, they were always very approachable, kind, and calm. We never felt pressured to make any decisions that we do not feel comfortable in the particularly difficult market. Special thanks to Jo Davy, she is a star! She worked tirelessly during all hours of the day and night and went above and beyond to help us with our move which was very complicated, to say the least. Jo also communicated very clearly and regularly so we knew what was happening. We had a fantastic experience with them and would definitely recommend Michaels Property!

GoogleWe used Michael’s to sell our home and we were extremely happy with the experience we received. From the day of booking the valuation through to exchange we received top class service. Due to the staff and approach to marketing my property our home was sold within one week. Following the original sale falling through, the team then sold our property again (for an increased price) four days later. The whole procedure was made easier by the fact that we had constant contact and I never had to wait for a response to any enquiry. We are so thankful for everything they done for us and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services.

GoogleWe sold and brought our property through Michael’s and have been impressed with the whole team from start to finish. They literally valued, marketed AND SOLD our property on the same day we meet with them! They took really great photos and an amazing video of the property that has doubled up as a really nice memory to look back on of our first home. Considering we were in a rush to get our property sold, it was obvious a lot of time was taken still in the marketing of the property. From then, Jo progressed the sale/purchase and kept us well informed through to exchange, it was nice to have a dedicated sales progressor as a constant point of contact and it was clear they were very active in pushing the chain through towards the end when it was necessary. Highly recommend, thank you Michaels!

After a little hiccough at the beginning, Cameron quickly rectified the situation and the customer service was outstanding throughout the process. From the point we had accepted an offer, I then received almost weekly updates from Jo which really settled nerves, especially near the point of exchange!
