We have just gone on the market with Harris and Wood and have been nothing but impressed since the first point of contact. James (our now favourite photographer ever) was absolutely brilliant, he made me feel at ease instantly, he was so unbelievably good with our very excitable pup Teddy, and even took the time to take some professional photos of him, which we will be getting printed and framed! Although it’s very early days for us with Harris and Wood we already have viewings lined up and feel very confident that we will get the price we need, given then fantastic marketing and stunning photos. Really grateful for your hard work so far ladies and gents.

So far I’ve had a really great time working with Harris and wood. Communication has been incredible: calls, messages and emails all answers very quickly. The photographer James who came out was brilliant, very professional, clearly loved his work. He showed me the photos as we went along and listened to my feedback, he was approachable enough I felt I could tell him my true opinion and we got photos I was really happy with. He was also amazing with my very bouncey dog and photographed her at the end as a keepsake!

Honestly can't recommend the team at Harris & Wood enough. We've just bought our first house through them and the service has been outstanding. The negotiation team really worked hard for us and were so quick to negotiate our offer. Everyone we've dealt with has been super friendly and professional. They've been fantastic at keeping in contact and updating us along the way. After some pretty terrible communication problems with estate agents when renting in the past, Harris & Wood have been a real treat!

We have had an incredible experience with Harris and Wood. After being completely screwed over by another local estate agent, we were really nervous to put an offer in for another home. 6 WEEKS!!!! That's all it took from acceptance of offer to moving in! Marcus especially has been very efficient, kept me in the loop, and been on hand for my 1000 questions. Quite possibly "the worst" Agent I have…

Quite possibly "the worst" Agent I have ever come across (Leeds area) . My daughters 1st apartment, paying top dollar and she can see sky through the roof, water running (not leaking) out of badly corroded Radiators damp everywhere. We have asked repeatedly to have these issues fixed and nothing has been done, just emails from agent to landlord and that's where it ends. Today she has said it's to cold and draughts to stay there any longer and the reply is"you need to give 2 months notice"BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE

Totally disgusted

Totally disgusting practices. This company are selling a detached property next to my home. They say it’s impossible not to include a photograph of the full frontage of my house as well. I requested the photo be cropped or changed. For a few days I regained my privacy but again the original photo has returned and is all over the internet. They say they can’t show their clients garage without my house being in the picture. Absolute garbage as the garage is on the other side of the house being sold not next to my house!!! It’s obvious they are using my home to paint a picture of a nice residential road. It’s 100% possible to take a photo showing the house , driveway and garage of their clients property without including my home. Awful just awful.

Although somewhat different than my experience with renting in Germany the process was relatively straightforward and I was able to find a place and sign a tenants agreement even before moving to Colchester for work. Megan Power, the senior lettings negotiator from Harris and Wood, helped me with the whole process, answered quickly and was always available in case I had any questions.

S. YORKS. If I could give a negative score, I would. What an absolute bunch of useless w-----s. As a tenant we, get 6 monthly inspections, not a problem at all. The problem is, they hardly ever do the work needed & when they do, they employ the most r------d & incompetent person possible & the quality of the work is ALWAYS s--t. When you complain, they do nothing about it. For people using them as an agent: they are letting your properties deteriorate while charging you the earth.

Do not take responsibility or interest in the legalities of what they are selling. For instance, they have had a Goldthorpe S Yorks property on there books since at least 2017 ( when it was reduced in price). The property includes a building in the yard, which might have been sold separately. Person on the phone, did not know what the status of the property was.Park Rd Barnsley. Very large garden, with planning permission for house, actually permission is expired and owner of property sold land to company he owns. Have pressed on whether the owner is in a position to sell the land. No answer.Everyone at an individual office is given a title such as CEO

Estate agent was the rudest I've ever seen. Property was rented and we were not told before making a 1 hour trip. Arrived 4 mins past agreed time and we were insulted beyiond measure. I wish I could take legal action against them.

Unprofessional - don't use this company

I am a landlord to a small studio in Leeds. Kirsten Airs agreed to drop their 12.5% plus VAT fees down to 10% including VAT, but then didn't do so. She has been avoiding my calls ever since, despite me threatening legal action and to raise a complaint with the ombudsmen. If you are a landlord, I would suggest you don't use this company.

Don't fix the leak for 8 months

They respond only to the simplest things. Whenever it becomes tiny bit more complicated - nothing is taken care of. We have a leaking pipe on the outside of our property for 8 months. We let them know about this in the first several weeks of our tenancy. Over 8 months it's been back and forth, and NOTHING about this leak has been fixed. Every time someone takes a shower, we have a shower in our conservatory. They do send the workers, true, but only when there is no rain. And these are new workers every time, who look at it, scratch their heads and do nothing.You need to chase them every day, if you want to have anything done. They don't care about you, don't care about the property. The worst experience with the estate agents in my 12 years of renting.
