GoogleHarris and Wood are super organised and were very good at keeping us in the loop when it came to us moving for the first time in yearly 10 years. Megan Power was especially patient and helpful when called daily and bombarded with questions that now seemed obvious. 10 out 10 would recommend should you be thinking about moving :)

GoogleMaddie Stuttle was absolutely outstanding throughout our purchase. We were working to a tight deadline with our mortgage offer about to expire and she managed to get everything over the line just in time on the final day. Her persistence and communication kept all parties moving involved made a huge difference. She was always on top of things, quick to respond, and clearly went above and beyond to make sure nothing slipped. We genuinely don’t think this would have completed when it did without her. Highly recommend. A true asset to Harris & Wood.

GoogleI was looking to move from Southend to Colchester a month ago. I contacted the office and spoke to Megan. She was and amazing. A property was available to view and Megan arranged a viewing there and then for a couple days time, unfortunately that fell through however, another property was immediately advised was nice. I arranged to view and really liked it. Megan was brilliant as I'd already filled out forms for the previous property she transferred all the information, kept in constant contact with me either by phone, messaging emailing even after business hours!! Megan made everything easy and when there was an issue with the system was able to deal with it straight away from her end and I was able to move it in within a few weeks.. when we moved in the back fence had been broken by someone this was fixed within a few days1 I cannot fault the service she gave and would certainly recommend both yourselves and Megan .

GoogleI’ve dealt with Harris & Wood over past few months and I can honestly say it’s been a great experience. Megan has been by our side since the beginning and I can’t fault her at all. She is so accommodating, kind and easy to communicate with. We feel super lucky to have had such a smooth-sailing time, since we hadn’t had such a great experience in the past with a different estate agents. We will always recommend H&W, everyone I’ve spoken to and met has been utterly fab.

GoogleCan’t recommend Harris & Wood enough, It’s my first time renting for myself. Tom was very kind and patient with myself and my children and showed me around my new home and answered all my questions. Megan Power, has been brilliant and very kind and professional throughout the whole process. She always replied to my emails promptly and always so lovely on the phone. One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters auction. House was listed on website and tenanted for a fixed amount of rent which I was told by the auction agent called Robert. Also house was in bad state but got told tenants don’t care so why do you. Only to find out later on that tenants have never paid anywhere near that amount and it’s so much lower. So was lied to first of all and then later to meet the tenants and for them to tell us all the work they was promised and they wanted the house fixing top to bottom. What an absolute joke and waste of time and money. Keep your money and go elsewhere they will tell you anything just to sell a house that is overpriced

Rude, get passed around from pillar to post while they try to ignore your requests or questions. Tried for years to get them to fix things but just continually fell on deaf ears. Now they're trying to claim issues are my fault which are down to shoddy contractors (which they use consistently, including at one point despite having had yearly gas checks, I get told that the previous 6 years hasn't been done properly and the build up that caused a leak was because of this. Everything is everyone's issue but theirs. Renters, avoid at all costs!

GoogleI recently bought a property that had been marketed with Harris and Wood. They, and especially Naomi, were very polite and extremely helpful throughout. My overall move was very stressful due to some other factors and parties, but H+W were a pleasure and basically the only thing that kept me going. I would highly recommend them, and I'll definitely be using them in the future when it's time to move from here.

FacebookI couldn’t recommend Harris & Wood enough. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish with marketing our property and finding us a buyer to managing the sale through to completion. There were several issues that arose with our house move of which Naomi at H&W took full ownership and ensured that they were resolved asap. To ensure that the chain didn’t fall apart, she was incredibly proactive and ended up doing the job of the other estate agents in the chain including liaising with the solicitors at the bottom, the legal team of a management company and a developer at the top of the chain. Paul and his team at Chesterwell really are fantastic and there is no one else that I’d trust to sell a property, the service really is first class.

I remain deeply disappointed in the way my most recent complaint has been handled at their Newcastle branch. The way the branch manager speaks to tenants is appalling! If you have a complaint then don’t expect any sympathy or accountability. We have rented this property for 11 years and in that time, we have been superb tenants but sadly that doesn’t mean anything to them. I anticipate a reply to this which will more than likely attempt to completely contradict what I’ve written here but just know that our experience has not been a positive one!

1 bed property Sparks Close, Dagenham, RM8 - Landlord and hunters agent where complicit in illegal procedures regarding discrimination. We went through all the paper work and wasted 2 weeks till they call me and tell me the Landlord dont want a baby in the property. Don't trust them slow untrust worthy. And definitely dont rent the sparks close 1 bed property, Landlord seems like a handful save your self
