GoogleMake sure to ask about their/landlords tenancy policys we are being evicted after refusing to sign another tenancy due to the way they have maintained the house Give lack of information and have no intention of helping the tenant! Once they have a contract and money in their hand then they arnt bothered Avoid at all costs
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry that you are not satisfied with our process. We don't have a specific policy when a tenancy is due for renewal other than to contact each party to reach a mutual agreement. Some landlords require a fixed term for security of tenure and some do not. You initially requested a 12 month renewal however the landlord was only prepared to offer 6 months because of breach of tenancy. We are obliged to take our landlords instructions. Please contact Whitegates should you require any further clarification.

I've had no issues at all, I would definitely use them again. They are a friendly, knowledgeable and approachable team in Cleckheaton who made my landlord experience run smoothly.

GoogleIf I could put 0 stars I would, avoid at all costs. They breached there tenancy agreement before we even moved in. We moved into a property managed by Whitegates in Cleckheaton it was dirty, had mould (still has mould) garage door was insecure, car port didnt have a key, had no working smoke alarms, and to top it off faulty electrics. Whilst living in this hell hole for the past 6 months we have had a rewrite due to the dangerous electrics which took 3 months for them to get round to do, the electrician also put it in a smoke alarm so we were left for 3 months with no working smoke alarms. Baring in mind we have a child in this property as well. Various emails get ignored, and issues get dragged out. They have no interest in us as tenants or our well being. We are reasonable people and just want to live in a nice house. And before you tell me I'm lying about the smoke alarms again, we have photos and a paper trail of everything so do not insult our intelligence . Very angry and disappointed in your branch and I will never ever rent or buy from you or any of your branches In the future and will definitely not be recommending you to anyone else!

GoogleDon’t make the mistake I did by getting into a tenancy agreement through Whitegates Cleckheaton. Had all sorts of issues with the property (shower, toilet, heating twice) and it always takes weeks to sort out. I even got locked out once after an inspection and had to spend the night in the car!! Currently been without a working washing machine for well over a month only to be told I can’t have a replacement until I’ve paid the next months rent!! Avoid at all costs!!

GoogleI have rented many properties over the years and had many agents and landlords to deal with but I have to say I was sad when we moved from a property managed by Whitegates. Every dealing with Whitegates is always fair and they are very approachable and worked hard to resolve things quickly. Refreshing to find an estate agent with such high customer service and not just collecting rent from you each month I can not recommend them enough.
