We recently sold our house with Whitegates and would 1000% recommend them to anyone. Stephen was fantastic and got our house listed quickly and with fab photos. He always let us know if there was a house within our criteria that was coming on the market, and knew just what we were looking for. Julie and Michelle were so lovely and very helpful. They went above and beyond and always kept us in the loop and updated during the stressful time. They answered all our queries and nothing was ever too much trouble - thank you both! The service they provide is brilliant value for money and we would always choose Whitegates in the future.

We have rented through Whitegates for the last three years and they have been brilliant in getting what limited problems we did have resolved quickly. Amanda has always been amazing in keeping us updated on anything that needed doing, and is friendly and lovely to deal with. During COVID lockdowns, Louise was on hand via email and phone helping us out promptly when we needed her to even during trying times. If there was an option to put no stars I would. Louise is thoroughly unprofessional and very intrusive about tenants personal life. They send people to fit stuff at the rented property and the people are actually spying on you. They go back and feed all information as to who visits the property and etc back to the agents even though it’s none of their business to know who is visiting the tenant. We trust the workers who come over to fix the stuff and not keep an eye on the tenants personal life. this company is so unprofessional they don’t give a damn about the tenant issues. This is unethical to spy on the tenants personal life. And lady Louise has the cheek to actually question about lockdown rules etc without even knowing the person In question is in a vulnerable state.NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

We have used Whitegates Estate Agency in Cleckheaton for 6 years now to manage the letting out of our apartment. I cannot praise Louise and Amanda enough. They have been very professional and friendly, and have given us sound, prompt advice when we have needed it. Whenever anything has required fixing, they have dealt with it immediately, making sure that both our tenant and ourselves have confidence, knowing that we are all being well looked after. I would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to use them to manage their property. In the past we have also used Whitegates to sell a property, and were happy with their service in that respect as well.

I would just like to praise the amazing staff at Whitegates Cleckheaton. I rented with them for 9 years in the same property and my experience could not have been better. They never took longer than a day to respond to contact, if not straight away when ringing them. Amanda was always on hand if I popped into the office and extremely helpful. All checks that needed doing within the time I spent with them were organised and efficiently carried out, when convenient for myself. The boiler man was always a delight to see every year. I was sad to leave but even after leaving they have still kept in touch and kept me in mind for any properties that come up. Louise was also very sympathetic and helpful giving advice and trying to find us another property. I will definitely be using them again soon.

If you want someone to enthusiastically sell your home absolutely look no further than Whitegates Cleckheaton!!! Stephen came and viewed the property along with 2 other estate agents and he was so positive primarily about the key points of the house/garden but also about the potential buyers. His valuation was more than the others but it was his motivation that was infectious and I was confident he would portray that to maximise customers. Louise's photographs captured the property at its absolute best, the team promptly got it marketed and had 3 viewings lined up even before they had the keys!!! 3 good offers came straight in and were communicated promptly. The sale went through smoothly and the property now has new owners exited to be moving

This is the second time I have sold a house through Whitegates Cleckheaton. The first time I changed from another estate agent as I had no enquiries whatsoever in 9 weeks. Louise took one look at the property and took brilliant photos which showed all the special qualities. I immediately received bookings and the first viewer came back in 3 days and the sale was agreed. This was my first move in 30 years and Louise and Michelle made the whole process easy. Michelle and team had answers at the ready to any queries I made. Recently my father’s house had to be sold and my family turned to Whitegates Cleckheaton without hesitation. Once again Louise took excellent photos and prepared a detailed description after advising us of the best plan for marketing an unusual property which involved some land. The sale was handled with the utmost discretion as we were concerned about the empty house, but we were overwhelmed with the number of viewers in the first week, with several very good offers. We were kept fully informed throughout, so that when the sale was agreed we knew that we were in safe hands, but we never believed this could have been such a trouble free experience. I would highly recommend Whitegates Cleckheaton for their knowledge of the area and their expertise, enthusiasm and above all, friendliness. Thank you Louise and Michelle and team!
