I also found the absence of a ‘pushy’ approach here really refreshing and I felt that theyappeared to achieve a good equilibrium between buyer and seller. Not easy to achieve! Both Matthew and Peter are true professionals. From valuation to our recent exchange of contracts they have managed our sale efficiently and with the utmost diplomacy, they make a great team. Our chain broke and was repaired, nurtured and strengthened where required. My wife and I recently completed on the purchase of a house through Matthew Pierce. In all I have moved house over 20 times and I have never come across such an accommodating estate agency. Matthew was on the ball throughout the transaction keeping me informed of developments as they happened. He made exchange and completion so smooth and then welcomed us into our new home with a welcome card and a bottle of fizz! In all of over 20 moves I have never experienced such a service. I have no hesitation in recommending him to future customers.

I feel compelled to give a review for Matthew Pierce Estate Agents even though they were not strictly speaking "my" agent. Peter acted as the agent for the family I was buying from & he was accommodating & professional throughout. He went out of his way to ensure the problems we encountered in the chain were solved, & maintained a high level of communication to all parties. The agents I used to sell my house were awful & without Peter's help I'm sure the chain would have collapsed! Peter has managed to support me (the buyer) whilst also acting in the best interests of his clients (the sellers). A rare quality & very refreshing to come across.

I believe that Peter and Matthew are the most knowledgeable property agents in Claygate. They acted on both the purchase of our house in Claygate just over two years ago and its subsequent sale recently. On the recent sale the chain was quite complicated and the sale quite fraught, but Peter and Matthew (Peter particularly) handled all parties with understanding, patience and care...their experience held the chain together and chivied it along at the right times.
