Brigfords came highly recommended to me for letting out properties and I can say the process was Seamless from start to finish. I instructed Brigfords to market my property for rent using their full management property service. The team were fantastic, the property was marketed to a high standard, and after only days days of viewings I had applications for tenants. All elements were taken care of including certificates for the property/ cleaning and any small maintenance items without me having to even think about it. The property had a let agreed within a few days of being on the market and there is a suitable family now in the home. Lyndsy my lettings manger and Katie the negotiator were particularly excellent. I hope this is the start of a very long and successful relationship.

She went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that the transaction went through in a timely fashion (even dealing with matters out of hours). They rented me a house at 26 Jefferson Walk ST16 1WF and I listened to construction noises for 1 year and they forced me to sign an additional contract for 1 year even though I told them before. They tried to rent me this house above market prices. When I left, they had no other choice so they rented it to others at a lower price. They are not honest and try to rip people off. Also, do not trust the zero deposit system, they work together and try to get money from you

Had to call numerous times over two days before someone answered, waited a week for the viewing to be called two two hours before for confirmation I was attending, then one hour before they call again and cancel because someones car broke down. Absolute pants.

Excellent Customer Service

I visited a number of estate agents in Halifax Centre last week and Bridgfords were the best by far. On entry I was welcomed by Courtney who went above and beyond to help me with my enquiry. She took my details and added me to the mailing list for updates and has been actively sending properties that may be of interest to me ever since. Her colleague Alix was also really helpful. You can feel that the culture here is all about the people & customer. The estate agent I went to prior (not mentioning any names but very, very close to Bridgfords) had me sitting around for 10 minutes whilst on a call then reluctantly gave me a print out of a property that already had 25 people booked to view the next day (a pointless exercise, just fob me off why don't you) He didn't even take my details and I felt as though he couldn't wait to go for his lunch. Now that's what bad customer service. But Bridgfords do not deserve bad press. May I urge you to please take no notice of the bad reviews below because the team here are warm, welcoming & lovely and good at what they do so keep you heads high, because you deserve a big well done! :)

After being shown a property for rent I…After being shown a property for rent I informed the agent from Bridgfords in Sale that I’d like to put an offer in. The agency said she’d call later that day to talk me through the checks required ect and how to proceed. No call me no response from texts from the agent. When I called the office I was informed an offer was put in the day after I’d viewed the place and it was now off the market!! How was I not able to put an offer in. Had my time wasted be lied too. Had to take time out of work during a busy period to be ignored. Stay well clear of Bridgfords in sale. I won’t mention the agents name publicly as much as I’d like too

As a landlord I would strongly recommend not using Bridgfords Leeds. The organisation and communication by the Branch Manager - Alia Gould and her team is terrible. With incorrect invoices, 4-5 weeks to reply to emails, never available when you call is certainly not what you need as a landlord. Further to this when you first sign up with them Alia and the team push you to complete a positive review on Google, obviously to hide the poor reviews - my advice would be leave it 6-12 months to see how they perform and then leave a review. Big company ethos, do not care about the individual landlords and tenants just bothered about getting the money in !!! I will be going back to using smaller local agents, where you can actually speak to someone and that care about the individual landlord and tenants.

Sam was brilliant really friendly. However "company policy" meant that the holding deposit was withheld even though we decided not to go ahead with the property. Be careful if you change your mind at any point that you dont incur costs. Very disappointing and the service was pretty good up until that point.
