Awful customer service, do not respond to emails, make you feel like an idiot on the phone for asking questions after not getting responses. absolutely gutted that I have to deal with this company.

We have recently let out a property with Bridgfords. Not having much local knowledge of estate agents in the area we enquired with a few but Lyndsy at Bridgfords stood out by far. She got back to us straight away and was attentive and helpful in every aspect of the process. Nothing was too much trouble for her and within a few days she came to see us to talk about our options and advised us on what we needed to do next. Within a week she had organised everything, taken pictures and secured us a tenant! We couldn't believe how fast and easy the process had been. Between Lyndsy and Katie, they have been nothing but kind and attentive and allowed us to ask all the questions we have needed. We will definitely be using them again. Thanks again ladies!

Katie and Lyndsy went above and beyond to make our experience of renting a house smooth and enjoyable. From initial viewing with Katie to corresponding about paperwork, finances and little hiccups along the way (nothing to do with Brigfords), we felt looked after, valued and like they had our best interests at heart. There are plenty of other letting agents in this area, but I can honestly say I would only use Bridgfords.

If you want a company of people with minimal care for you and the process, who don't do what they tell you they are going to do, and then when you're trying to find out where things are up to, never answer the phone, Bridgfords are the one.

Lack of communication, unethical and unprofessional Practices

I had a very disappointing experience with [Agency Name]. I initially booked a viewing for a flat that was on sale, only to find out the appointment was cancelled because the flat was sold, and they forgot to inform me.Giving them another chance, I booked a viewing for another property. However, they insisted that I use their mortgage advisor even though I already had one and an Agreement in Principle. When I refused to change my mortgage advisor, they immediately cancelled my viewing appointment. This kind of behaviour is unprofessional and unethical. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.

Buying a house in the middle of a Pandemic had its challenges but Stephanie and Louise really went above and beyond. Bridgfords were the agents I was buying from and I think i spoke to them more than my Estate Agent! Illegal practices

Illegal practices! Referred to the Property Ombudsman because contract was completed by manager, Tammi, and not ourselves, meaning we incurred hundreds of pounds of additional costs. Additional problems included; no marketing of the property, little, if any, communication. Should have gone to any of the other local estate agents.

Awful service and expensive fees. Landlords should use someone else.

Been with Bridgfords for a few months and cant really give positive feedback back on any part of their service. They are slow to respond, aggressive and generally useless. Their service centre is completely separate from the lettings team which results on breakdown in communication and poor service. They are great at selling their service to entice you in then run a mile once you are signed up.

They will call you in and tell you to speak to their mortgage advisor who then tells you that he can get you the property if you sign up with them for £660+ non refundable, he will use their own solicitors too. My wife and I asked what about the other bidders and he said, the vendor won’t see those bids don’t worry. This is completely illegal and we walked away, he then said you are willing to walk away from this deal and get outbid. I said yes I would rather lose out on 20k than give you one penny. It’s kickbacks galore in that place and we know full well we will now not get that property. I would love to speak to the person selling the house but they have moved abroad and left these clowns in charge.

Also their response times getting back to me with my queries was second to none. I looked at other letting agents before I chose Bridgefords but these came out tops! I'd definitely recommend!
