Apart from one v helpful lady at the Eltham Branch. I move had a really awful and quite frankly bullying level of service from this branch manager . I gave the spare key to the agent to show qualified buyers around. Numerous times only one bolt on the door was locked, not the dead bolt and me having to call the agent to remind them to ensure both bolts should be locked. Once lights left on and when I messaged the manager he didn’t even get back to me and communication was a constant problem where the manager wouldn’t get back to me despite texting he would. I have all the chaser emails and text messages.

YellAVOID this estate agents!!!
Avoid this estate agents!!!!They accepted my holding deposit for a property, I completed the application and passed all the referencing, on the day the contract was due to be signed I got a call from the agents telling me the landlord had pulled out!!! I was given no explanation and me and my children have been left homeless just before Christmas. I was offered no alternative no help at all and all of my emails have been ignored. Do not use this estate agents!!!!!! They have no care for their customers at all!!!

YellPoor communication
After requesting a viewing for a property the agents failed to get back to me about availability for viewing over a two week period even though requested details were given. This was only arranged after a phone call to the agents. After viewing the property and speaking with the agent again I asked a couple of questions and was waiting for a response and had also emailed them separate to this with another query. I never had any contact back and the property now has a let agreed. Very, very disappointed with the lack of communication which lead to us not having the opportunity to let this property.

GoogleHighly recommended. We were using a local agent who let us down and we tried JDM on the advice of a friend. They had a buyer within 24 hours. Professional, communicative and very easy to deal with. We wish we’d used them from the start!

GoogleCouldn't recommend highly enough. Let my property with JDM for 2 years after I moved abroad, they were very helpful throughout the whole process, kept me informed, inspected the premises regularly and managed the whole arbitration process (achieving a positive result for me) when there was a deposit dispute after the tenants moved out. I've just sold the property through them and, again, couldn't fault them. They did a great job of keeping me updated, liaising with the buyers regularly, answering my queries promptly and ensuring everything went as smoothly as it could. Felt they really cared about me and acting in my best interests.

Incompetency at its highest level. Completely useless throughout tenancy. Won a case with property ombudsman due to their incompetence and dishonesty.

Thank you for your feedback. We thought it might be useful to give context to your recent review. As you are aware, the Ombudsman upholding your complaint was in no way due to incompetency and dishonesty on the part of jdm Estate Agents. The basis of your complaint was around the lack of parking at the property you rented. The property was never advertised as including parking, parking was not included in our original marketing material or online advert. The requirement for a parking space was not included as part of your original enquiry or formed part of your offer to rent the property. It was also not included within the tenancy agreement you signed. The Ombudsman's decision to uphold (in part) your complaint was because the landlord had not confirmed to jdm in writing that there was no parking at the property. jdm Estate Agents inherited the management of the property from another agent. There was an omission on their part to oblige the Landlord to complete a property questionnaire form which would have confirmed the parking position. The decision to uphold your complaint (in part) was not because we incorrectly marketed the property or deceived anyone but because they felt due process had not been followed. At all times jdm Estate Agents has been professional, polite and courteous and at no stage have jdm Estate Agents been incompetent or dishonest. We hope this gives some background to your complaint so that it can be understood in context. We also hope that our other reviews and our 5 star Google reviews give reassurance to the public regarding the quality of our service and the level of professionalism they can expect from jdm Estate Agents. GoogleJDM did an incredible job of selling our house. It took time (a few years!) to co-ordinate finding a buyer with us finding a house we wanted to buy but Debbie (who works in the Chislehurst branch) never lost her will... or patience! The whole team is helpful, knowledgeable and experienced - unlike our experience of some other agents. And they gave us by far the cheapest rate. Wholeheartedly recommend. GoogleHaving had a nightmare experience with other local agents, I decided to try JDM. What a difference! A photographer was despatched within a couple of days of instructions, a For Sale board was erected and I was on the internet by the end of the week. After 6 months with my previous agents I'd had less than a handful of viewings and no feedback whatsoever. JDM have arranged almost 30 accompanied viewings, with feedback, which has proved enormously helpful and highlighted issues which have been of concern to a potential purchaser. I've been inundated with letters from other local agents asking for my sale instructions, making promises of a quick sale. JDM have thus far provided me with an excellent service and I remain confident my property will sell with them. Without exception the staff are courteous, informed and professional, and always pleasant to deal with.

If you are seeking an estate agent in the Chislehurst area then you can do no better than instruct JDM. We have recently used the company to sell our home, the service was extremely professional. Every member of staff that we spoke to was friendly, efficient,approachable and had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the local property market, which enabled them to supply sage advice and support throughout the progress of the transaction.
