GoogleI listed my property with JDM for over 12months. They advised me to accept an offer to sell without checking if the buyer had a mortgage offer in place (he did not). It took almost 3 months of waiting to progress the sale before I started to push JDM to find out the buyer had no mortgage in place and the sale had fallen through.
I had instructed solicitors and incurred £600 in failed fees all off the back of the advice given to me by JDM.
JDM does not qualify prospective buyers positions before arranging a viewing and from my experience ,even before presenting offers to a vendor.
I moved my property to KFH. It was sold in less than 3 weeks. 5 viewings, 4 offers and my sale was progressed impeccably.
I would urge anyone to think carefully before using JDM. From my recent experience I would strongly suggest avoiding.

Hi Terry,
We are always open to criticism where it is warranted, and I wanted to clarify the position regarding the buyer and the progression of the sale.
Before proceeding to sale, we have two fixed stages at which we are legally able to check a buyer’s financial position. In this case, the buyer did have a mortgage in place; however, as can sometimes happen, the property was subsequently down-valued by the lender. Unfortunately, this is a step that sits entirely outside of our control.
We appreciate how frustrating this situation can be and understand why that frustration may have been directed towards us. Following the valuation, we explored and suggested a number of potential solutions with the buyer, but ultimately they did not feel confident proceeding after the down-valuation.
Whilst this was unfortunate, it is, regrettably, part of the process from time to time. That said, we are pleased that, despite this happening some time ago, everything has since worked out well for you and that you are now settled in your new home.

I recently sold my home through JDM. Initially we were going to use another local agent, but we felt they weren't particularly good. Turns out they weren't, so choosing JDM was a good choice. From day one Scott was fantastic. We had to move quickly to get our home on the market and Scott organised a really good photographer to come at short notice. The quality of the images was top notch, really made our home shine. That's what you want when selling! Communication was great and Scott had viewers through my door before the house had even been marketed. Shout out to Jake too who was very helpful and gave me regular calls with updates and feedback.
