How unlucky you are if you come across JDM

I have been a renter through JDM for almost 6 years. Unprofessional staff, unprofessional approach. My landlord has been convinced to sell her house around 1M and after 8 months it has been priced 600k through other agency. Obviously, they misdirected her and because of them I had to move out, found higher rent etc. The most disappointing moment was when they requested one day extra rent while moving out, even my landlord laughed and rejected it. Interesting to see how they are still around…Go off??? I don’t want to hear more of you bsht

The best way in the world to find a dentist and estate agent!

Suppose you wanted to find the best dentist in Eltham. You’d ask friends, neighbours and family and if one name came up more than, say, 2/3 times choosing would be a piece of cake. Same holds true if you’re looking for a home. So when our family said Kelly over at JDM did an amazing job for us we rang up, chatted and watched a Rolls spring into action on our behalf. Like dentistry, house hunting can be gut-wrenching but at no time did we not feel like we were the most important clients in Eltham.

Debbie was the agent who looked after the sale processed. She was always available to talk and answered any queries or questions I had and always got back to me with honest answers. Debbie, Debbie, Debbie, what is there to say about Debbie…?! Let’s start with how professional Debbie has been throughout the entire process of selling my property. I wasn’t on the market when Debbie came to me but Debbie and I had dealt with each other before and she felt she had the right buyers for my property and with a slight twist of the arm Debbie had them viewing a few days later. Val Collier was my Estate Agent assisting with the purchase and she has been an absolute pleasure throughout the entire process. Gave up on this agent after 6 weeks

We decided to try JDM as they have been around for years, what a mistake. The only time we spoke to anyone was at valuation and in first 6 weeks, contact was by email only when I had to ask them to write more than one line about the property on the Rightmove main listing. I wrote it myself in the end. The photos were not special and having uploaded my text they changed the photo 'by mistake' to the most awful one of a winter back garden instead of the front of the house which is one of its good selling points. I had to ask for this to be changed. No viewings in 6 weeks but not surprised. I asked for a better description on the actual Rightmove listing and they did eventually do this but by now and 6 weeks in, we gave up and gave notice to cancel. No email acknowledgements from the Bromley Office or the HQ in Locksbottom who I also emailed. So had 6 weeks left to go on the contract but no chance of a sale. Avoid if possible.

JDM Chislehurst are the local agent to use without doubt and I would highly recommend them. Steven May has been an absolute star from start to finish in the process of selling our home, ensuring that the chain did not fall apart by liaising with solicitors, and other agents acting for other parties in the chain to keep everyone on track. He resolved issues and has a vast knowledge of the process, so was able to deal with matters quickly to an amicable solution. Always very calm with his approach, which in turn helped all involved and without his input our sale and purchase could have easily fallen through. The rest of the team have been very professional and efficient and managed all viewings on our behalf and achieved an early sale. They were amazing! We were first time buyers so for us everything was new and there was a lot we didn't understand. They were all incredible but particularly Kelly at the Bromley branch. We had the most difficult solicitors (one of the worst they have dealt with apparently) and Kelly was incredible through out.
