GoogleVery very poor experience with leaders letting department. They never reply to emails or call back . Still waiting for a rent statement for an elderly tenant I am assisting they just ignore us . Having to go to the deposit dispute service due to deducting a large part of the gentlemen’s deposit . No one returns calls or emails for discussion . They do not seem to be able to use their own depository system . Tenants beware, landlords avoid you will have very unhappy tenants . Julie Pratt you are ignoring all emails !

Googleone star is being generous if im honest. can’t express how bad and unprofessional leaders of chichester are. very arrogant and rude staff on the phone and via email. we put in to rent a house through them. we were asked if either of us have any debts. the answer is NO, weren’t asked about previous history at this point. so holding fee was paid, all moved forward. during referencing there was a question asking about ccjs, iva’s current or in the past. i answered yes to a satisfied IVA. this was the first time past debt was every mentioned by leaders. couple days went past, i called to see how things were going. we were told, just waiting on two bits of information for my partner and then all will be complete. 2 hours later i get a call, saying we have lost the house, they are keeping our £300 holding fee and they will not work with us any further. i was absolutely gobsmacked, i asked why to which i was just told they will not work with us. when i said do you want a guarantor or rent paid upfront, it was just dismissed, i then asked can you just put it to the landlord to see what they say, to which i was told, we will not speak to the land lord. we will not work with you. i said fine, can we have our holding deposit back, to which they said no. i said excuse me, they said no, you failed referencing so we keep your money. absolutely disgusting behaviour. and to add insult to injury, we are still to this day, nearly 4 weeks later, getting emails from them saying to sort this and that out before we move into our new property with them. asking us to set up council tax and insurances. we have asked multiple times for them to stop these emails, but yet will still get them. we have spoken to numerous other letting agents and all of them say it’s ridiculous that they are trying to keep our holding deposit. this was never mentioned in any correspondence with leaders, if it was we would of never put the deposit down. an age where everything is expensive and people don’t have spare cash and here are Leaders stealing money with no reason given. i will be popping in to see them at some point soon to discuss this matter in person. but before that i feel everyone needs to know to avoid Leaders at all cost.

GoogleMe and my husband just wanted to give credit where credit is due! From the very start we have had nothing but great customer service, Chris was amazing on our viewing to Matt who took out documents to Charlotte who has given advice. Our application has not been the easiest and the team probably all deserve large beverages on us. We haven't finished the process yet but they really do work so very hard to 1) reassure you 2) do everything in their power to help you get the property you want! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to rent.
