I was looking for a house to rent and found on on the CHICHESTER website, asked about it and the lady said that they do a video call with me and my wife at 3.00 on friday 7/7/23, No video call arrived, called them at 4.15 and was told that someone was viewing the house and they would send the video. a very rushed video arrived this morning, and when I went to ask the next step in the process would be, I was told that someone would call me back. just had the call at 15.16, to say that applications have already gone to the owners, and they did'nt care if I was interested in the house.Dont Touch With A Barge Pole

We recently moved out of a rental property managed by the Chichester Branch of Henry Adams Lettings. We had been model tenants for 2 years and were appalled by the treatment we received from Henry Adams. We left the property in immaculate condition and yet Henry Adams found every little detail possible to try and keep back as much of the deposit as they could. Be warned that you will not get your full deposit back! Daisy Kindred, in particular, was rude and patronising. Do yourself a favour and let a property with a different agent!

Very disappointed to say the least. They are very nice to you before you move in, after paying rent and deposit you will see hell. I stayed for days with no hot water in December, making numerous calls and emails and being told stories. I stayed for months with damp and mold and nothing was done, only for them to make efforts to change the place for the new tenant when I was to move out. The house was extremely cold. The worst experience ever, paying a lot of money for rent for nothing.

Great service from the Lettings Team at Storrington!'We' found a property we liked and a viewing was promptly arranged at a convenient time for 'us' (my partner!). Communication was great, got in touch when they said they would and the landlord requested a meeting before offering the tenancy to us which Henry Adams accommodated at their branch and even provided tea & coffee! Very friendly, helpful and communicative and quickly resolved a hassle we had with rightmove who manage the referencing. I think I would have preferred they handled referencing themselves as I feel they would have been more competent at it than rightmove were; hence the 4 stars.The welcome pack left for us when we moved in was lovely and they worked with my short-notice, very changeable, work schedule on key collection day which turned out to be nice and easy.Overall, great service moving in, if we move out (hoping not to!) then I'll try and remember to update this review!

Henry Adams has been great throughout the entire process of re-letting our flat. Our main contact was Charlie and he was always readily available, friendly and helpful with every query we had. I really appreciated his down to earth manner and honest advice and he was sensitive to our wishes, never pushing us to accept a potential new tenant that we didn’t feel comfortable with. Everything ran smoothly with setting up the new contracts and arranging the handover to our tenants. Thank you Henry Adams, would highly recommend!

Kevin, from Selsey branch was so friendly at first but when I chose to go elsewhere due to massively better rates I got an unpleasant and upsetting reply. I complained to the CEO and had an apology from him, not Kevin of course but as a result it appears I've been 'blacklisted'. Up to the point of complaint I had received multiple properties to view with Henry Adams but nothing since. This appears malicious and extremely unprofessional. Please don't use Henry Adams in Selsey.

Henry Adams (Horsham)Dreadful service for prospective purchasers.Very poor communicators.I would NEVER use them when selling, and now won't view any property that they are marketing.If you are a seller please consider other agents in order to get the maximum coverage of potential buyers as i am hearing a lot of other negative comments about Henry Adams around the town.Despite having a completed chain we were gazumped on the day we expected to exchange contracts.Dreadful, unfortunately Henry Adams in Horsham live up to all the poor reports and negative comments about estate agents that one reads in the press (which up until our dealings with Henry Adams we thought were untrue, how wrong we were!).

As we live in France, we have Henry Adams to take care of our apartment in the UK and they have been so very well for ten years. The service is excellent and their management more than anything provides peace of mind - they have always been able to find good tenants quickly. Any maintenance issues are sorted out without delay from their raft of electricians, plumbers, handymen etc. Thoroughly recommend.

Went to view a property priced at £1450 a month, absolutely loved it, it was perfect and seemed promising. It all felt like false advertising especially when I went to place my application, I was given an opportunity to basically bid on the house by upping the offer for rent a month? How ridiculous! No one should have to bid on a house to get a higher chance to be accepted. Especially when everyone is struggling for money. The owner took a higher offer of course and the company were useless at letting us know. Not a professional setting at all. Ridiculous

Henry Adams without doubt appear to have their finger on the trigger in terms of availability. If there's a property you need, chances are they'll have it! The Chichester office has maximum presence with large windows and pay & display right round the corner. I have been dealing with Monique who has been genuinely interested in my situation and I look forward to relying on them for my new home!

AWFUL - WOLVES - harassed me during lockdown in 2021 - TRAVEL and TOURISM sector did not need this ontop of everything else going on - pushed me out in the end - judged and assumed but only made and ass out of themselves.
