From the very first time I contacted Christopher Stokes with a view to renting out our property, they were friendly, efficient and responsive. Unlike some other local agents that I contacted, Jada answered the phone straightaway, called me back when she had promised to and quickly came round to view our house. We were impressed by Jada's knowledge of the local rental market and trusted her valuation. However, our circumstances changed and we decided to sell our house instead. Mario valued our house and again, we felt that we could really trust him, all important when you are tasking someone with selling your most valuable asset. Selling fees were in line with other agents despite the superior service we benefitted from.
Mario's obvious knowledge and expertise made him confident that he could sell our house quickly. Viewings were lined up even before the house was live on their website! Mario's confidence was not misplaced and within a week of our house 'going live', we had accepted an offer, thanks to the excellent sales team who showed a multitude of prospective buyers around.
We then had the bonus of Polly, the wonderful after sales advisor, who was instrumental in ensuring that the sale proceeded in a timely manner. Polly was the link between us and the seller, meaning that we didn't have to hassle our solicitor with little queries and her proactiveness meant that everything happened quickly and smoothly. Thanks to this, we managed to exchange contracts two months and a day after accepting the offer.
I should add that during the time the sale was going through, we relocated 200 miles away. The fact that our whole experience with Christopher Stokes was superb, even whilst 200 miles away and whilst in the middle of another lockdown, says it all! I really don't believe that you could choose a better agent than them. GoogleI have tried on soo many occasions to speak to Matthew but for some reason he is never in the office and never response to my emails. They don't have a care in the world all they do is take your money and run.
Just an update for anyone thinking of going with this company. I spoke to Matthew last week and he said he saw that I write a bad review and that we will try and sort everything out and let me know the next day. I'm still waiting for a response.. completely unacceptable and disgraceful. It looks like reviews mean more to them than keeping their customers happy.

From start to finish, their team went above and beyond to ensure that my home-buying experience was nothing short of exceptional.
Right from the beginning, the process was swift and efficient. I was able to arrange a viewing of the property in record time, allowing us to explore the home that had captured our heart. The viewing was truly impressive, and it solidified our decision to move forward with this property. Therefore, I would like to say a special thank to Maisie for her invaluable assistance during the viewing process.
Negotiations can often be a tricky part of the home-buying process, but thanks to the incredible support of Steve at Christopher Stokes, this aspect was smooth sailing. His communication skills were outstanding, making the negotiation process between myself and the vendor seamless and effective.

GoogleWe went to view a property in Broxbourne, for sale, Β£500,000.00. The first thing we were greeted with by the estate agent was 'you have 10 minutes'! What? I'm looking to spend up to half a million quid and I have 10 minutes?
We also asked lots of questions about the property. He knew nothing, 'nope, I don't know, I've no idea'. Not even 'let me find out and get back to you'
I can only presume a friend of his was after it and he was determined not to sell it to me!
