I see that on here this agency got only 5☆, but looking thorough other websites you'll find honest opinions of people who dealt with them! Before we rent our previous property with them, they were acting very nice, but after they simply lied to us regarding the landlords selling the house, and us to move ASAP out! We've begged them to allow us to leave a bit longer as it's hard finding a property so quick especially when you've got kids! It was my son birthday coming over and the half term holiday we've had booked since 1 year! They took us to court without caring about our situation! We've had to pay for the court fees and after 3 months they advertised the property online for rent in an increased amount; although we've asked for any increased rent just to continue to leave there as it's hard to move with kids especially after living so long over there! I don't mind they told us to move out, I understand it's the landlords house and he can do whatever he wants; the only thing I'm disappointed with is that the took us to court mentioning they will quickly have to sell the house and us paying for the fees and in the end it was only a simply lie. We've had to pay for the courts fee of a lie, it's says that all the information provided to the court has to be honest and real, and if you'll lie you'll face the consequences, but it was not their case! This is not all, when we encounter about our deposit they said that the landlord did not had time to check the property, how is it possible that you don't have the time to check the property if you're so desperate in selling your house ?! Another lie.. The deposit was saved in the deposit protection company and we did not gave our approval for them to collect the whole deposit, they claimed almost £9.000+ from us, saying we've damaged the walls and the house. Let me tell you something inspection was carried every 3 months, if you've noticed we're such bad tenants why did you renew every single year the contract ? It actually does not make sense at all, you did not had enough of recieveing money from us through court fees you were expecting us to renovate your whole property so you can rerent it for free from our pocket? You know what, karma will always come after us no matter what; this email is also intended for the "lovely " manager who was pregnant and did not showed any level of empathy for my kids, although she was a mom to be! I'll attach pictures so people will be aware of your "games" and don't fall for your fake acting like we did in 1st instance! Ps. In the end the adjudicator of the deposit company saw the truth through evidence we've attached and recieved the most of our deposit back! Always try to be covered through a deposit company than landlord or agency directly !

The team at Christopher Stokes are amazing! From finding a house to rent (thank you Oliver) to the general process of applying and renting and then finally moving in. They are great property managers (thank you Amy and Jordan) and have done their best to make sure we received the property at its best condition. Even when I had a small issue regarding the toilet they had a plumber available in as quick as 20 minutes. No doubt these guys know what they’re doing.
