If could give this company 0 stars i would. The treatment i have received today off members of staff is disgusting. I was firstly lied to on the exchange of a contract when i purchased a property today (wed). i was told i would have to wait till Fri till i get the keys to a property i now own! I was called 20 mins later to say it had now been exchanged but have to wait till 9pm to get the keys. (The contract exchanged at 12pm) I was then spoken very rudely to and asked what 'my problem was with getting the keys at 9pm, at least they aren't in London'. Through out the calls i had with him he was was very abrupt, rude and used bullying tactics. My solicitors gave this person 2 deadlines to hand the keys over amd both times failed. the time is now 9.15 and i still have NO keys to the property i own. I wouldn't recommend buying a property off this company to anyone.

Great all-round experience had when selling my cottage. The communication was timely, friendly and informative. It made selling the place as easy as it could have been. Although the property didn’t sell at the first auction I was presented with options afterwards as to how best to proceed and then the following month at the very next auction it sold for a great price. Fantastic result and friendly service ( and great aftercare’ help communicating with the buyer on a couple of questions that were quicker to deal with like that than via solicitors) that made the whole experience so easy and I felt that the team really looked out for my best interests. Avoid..It’s not the valuation === more waffle. Chris said he had a list of property developers/ builders to buy this property….Steven explain they did not …No viewings. No bids . No sale …Chris tells lies and waffles…Beware….. now my property has a red mark against it online …as unsold ……bad news …What a waste of time…The only advertising they do is put your property on Rightmove. And they charge you £250 or £500 for this plus 2% including taxes on the sale price ..Full of promise then full of waffle….Avoid…Ring round estate agent’s in the area as no one has a good word about how Chris works … He agrees a high reserve price then as no marketing is done so no response they want to lower the sales price I had no sale as not one viewing, not one bid ..just a load of waffle…

Your property also benefited from everything mentioned but sadly we just couldn’t get any bids on the day. We would be happy to enter your property into a 2nd auction at no extra charge but if this is not acceptable, we wish you every success in the future.

Many thanks for your review although we were extremely perturbed to read the contents. We can confirm that technical issues were experienced on the 22nd August but regretfully only discovered following completion of the auction. The technical issues were absolutely not the fault of the Auction House Scottish team since they had no control over the situation and this fault effected only a very small number of prospective bidders who had registered to bid. Auction House has since identified the issue, taken action and as a result have suspended use of the bidding platform used and have reverted to the bidding platform operated by the EI Group who have successfully been providing technical services to auctioneers across the country for several years. Again, we sincerely apologise for the frustration this must have caused but hope you will be comforted to some degree in that remedial action has been instigated very quickly following this unfortunate situation.
