Absolutely shambolic experience

Absolutely shambolic experience. The company is inflexible and does not accommodate for any circumstances that fall outside of its very narrow imagination. It seems staff put in the minimum effort required to keep the job. It seemed as if the company was merely an obstacle between landlord and tenant as it ignored all reasonable offers to modify the terms in the landlord's favour (offered by the tenant). Insisting on requiring in person viewing and in person signing is inexcusable in the third decade of the 21st century, all other Durham agencies seem to realise this. I am at a loss as to how this sorry excuse of an agency is still afloat and wish it a very near doom.

the landlord showed me around the house. both of us were very happy and I told the landlord I would contact Robinson to proceed with my application. the landlord said that if the agency was happy with the reference check, he had no obligation, he also told me he had a bad experience before and this was why he looked for the agency now. Robinson approached me after the viewing and asked for my detail and sent me the Homelet application online after we agreed that I pay at least 6 months' rent in front. after the agency told me the landlord changed his mind, I asked Homelet and was told that Homelet did not do my reference check at all. Robinsons replied to my post and claimed that I upset the landlord and therefore the landlord changed his mind. total less than 5 minutes of house viewing, I did not speak much and only praised the landlord for their well-tidied garden. they seemed very happy about my viewing. you ask for the viewer's feedback, and now I, being the viewer, also ask for the landlord's feedback. please provide me the landlord's feedback as to how I upset him, thank you.

My wife and I found the conveyancing…

My wife and I found the conveyancing very stressfull, but were fortunate that the conveyancing period was around 3 months, the mixed information from our convayancing and the buyer and their convayancing solicitors was confusing and upsetting to us so much that at one point we felt that it may be best to place our property back on the market. It was to the credit of Robinsons and all their staff in particula Angela who stepped in to ensure that exchange of contracts took place when it did, completion followed soon after. The help and support from Robinsons is proffesional courteous and knowledge of the local market was very good. A very effective Agent we felt getting the job done right first time . Robinsons at Sedgefield - The Super Heroes of Estate Agents

Robinsons at Sedgefield: what can we say? It's been a long journey with twists and turns but the team at Robinsons have been with us to guide us and support us every step of the way. Ryan simply could not have done more for us, taking our personal situation into account and being so accommodating in our many viewings and visits to the property. He is a true professional but also friendly and supportive. He met the needs of the whole family and we enjoyed his enthusiastic company enormously. We never met Sharon but spoke on the phone many times. Sharon listened and supported us throughout. She helped us to manage our expectations at various stages of the purchase and went out of her way to assist us to navigate our way through it.They are clearly very busy in that office, and yet Sharon and Jade always made us feel like we were important to them. Whatever they agreed to do they delivered. If it hadn't been for this professional, warm, friendly, passionate team, we would probably have given up on our purchase; but they stuck with us, counselled us through it and we trusted them that it would all be alright in the end. I sold my home through Robinsons a couple of months ago and the whole team couldn’t have been more helpful. I was really happy with the photos Michael had taken, they were brilliant. I was updated at every step of the process and viewings were made simple as the team communicated clearly with my availability. I had several offers made on my home from the very beginning and I think this highlights good estate agency as the listing was clear and informative. I had a couple of issues with needing the sale to go through quickly to avoid additional stamp duty abs Robinsons were extremely helpful in contacting the buyer to update them when I felt like the solicitors were not doing enough.
