To be fair to the Wilmslow office they did everything they said they would do. From an initial market appraisal through to completion the system worked excellently. Peter Higham took on our instruction and was spot on with his advice , James Poppock then ran our sale and was in touch throughout and was polite and efficient and upto speed throughout. The team were all aware with what was going on and and communication was excellent. All sounds a bit cheesy ,but its true. Thank you .

Excellent process with Gascoignes, from initial meet with Markus, market appraisal right down to the wire.Market knowledge and valuation was spot on. Photography clear, perfect contrast and house write up excellent and accurate. Brilliantly managed by Lucy Kershaw throughout with very timely comms and updates. We felt she managed potential buyers very well and helped maintain the integrity of the chain as it developed. Viewings all managed professionally and consistently too. Viewing requests started coming in within an hour or so of being released online. Offers started a few days after viewings and final offer just over a week later. Just excellent team all round! Thank you all.

Extremely poor customer service. No communication and appear to also be quite judgmental towards single parents. I am still waiting for them to call me back but regardless of weather they do or not, i definitely won’t be letting a property through them.

GoogleGascoigne Halman have assisted with two house sales and a purchase in Wilmslow. It wasn’t always smooth sailing and the team went out of their way to keep things on track. They are always professional and approachable, guiding you through the process step by step. What you won’t find are pushy estate agent with pound signs in their eyes! Highly recommended.

Lucy, Dominic and Markus in particular were assiduous in keeping me updated and their no nonsense advice showed their genuine interest in looking after the interests of their clients over anything else. Their customer service gives the impression of a family firm, but with the expertise of a larger agent. Thank you!

GoogleTalked to the sales team already but they seemed less than interested. Lets save each other time and stick if a property is leasehold or freehold into the property information on rightmove like seemigly every other company. We were told Its in the description, the listing doesn't have 'lease' anywhere on it Its in the brochure, the brochure isn't on rightmove Its not our policy to show it Save us time either calling or routing through your website where the only place its mentioned is on the brocure.

Wilmslow branch: very unprofessional, ignoring duty of care to renters. Ignored multiple requests to return the rental deposit after moving out, ignored multiple phone calls or came back with limp excuses for delays in responding.

Excellent experience with Gascoigne Halman who sold our house for us. Highly efficient, communicative and very helpful advice all the way through. I met Markus Jolleys initially for the valuation who took care and time in forming his opinion and explaining the valuation, market, strategy and overall process. I subsequently dealt mostly with James Coppock in the Wilmslow office who was extremely helpful, always available and very responsive, conscientiously tracking progress of all parties throughout the sale process to ensure everything stayed on course for completion. I highly recommend Gascoigne Halman, Markus and James on the basis of my experience.

Told the woman named Susan that I would be a student working in my holidays off uni whilst getting a mortgage. Been lead on to sign a lifetime fee of 600 pound to use there advice for the next 6 month for unlimited advice. Now being told she didn't know I was a student when I have clear evidence on my side I told her. Lawsuit imenent. This firm will lie to get money Out of you. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, GO EPSEWHERE.

GoogleGascoigne Halman handled the sale of my late mother’s house. They were professional, sensitive and extremely proactive throughout, during an emotional time for me. The experience of Markus Jolleys, in particular, was very reassuring when the inevitable obstacles and set backs occurred. His calm advice was very much appreciated. I would definitely use again and highly recommend.

GoogleI have used lots of estate agents in the past and have lots of bad experiences. But Gascoigne Halman are above the rest and it’s down to their people at their Wilmslow branch. They do everything they can to make the experience smooth and less stressful. A particular mention to Charlotte who is new to the branch but works so hard to ensure everything is done the right way.

GoogleNicola, James and the whole team have been fantastic. Very helpful, professional and managed the chain extremely well. Highly recommend this team in Wilmslow. The photos were high quality and not rushed, they understand the market and know who is looking for what type of property.

TrustpilotRental property- flea infestation
I would be very wary of letting these guys manage the rental of anything! Purchased a property via gascoigne and Halman, that has previously been tenanted (managed by gascoigne and halman), and it’s been a horrible experience. When we viewed the property it was filthy, so offered full asking on the agreement it be professionally cleaned. When we moved in, not only was it still dirty but we quickly discovered it had a serious flea infestation! When I flagged the flea issue to the chapel offIce they were helpful and did try to arrange pest control, but it was ineffective and 8 weeks on we still Have issues- the pest control guy thought the issue must have been untreated for many many months as the infestation was so bad! I don’t know what kind of checks they do on tenants, or how regularly they inspect their properties, but allowing a lovely new house to become absolutely infested under their management absolutely amazes me. Be very wary if you are considering them as rental agents.

GoogleHighly recommend Gascoigne Halman. The team there have been absolutely amazing from start to finish. They have helped us to sell our house and to also secure our next home. We’re very happy and would definitely use them again if we were to ever move house in the future.
