I used Chancellors for sale of my mother's house which turned out to be a very lengthy process, in fact just over a year! I can't recommend Nicholas Richmond highly enough. Not only was he friendly and helpful, but he kept us updated on a regular basis, and on many an occasion helped us to stay positive during an incredibly difficult and fraught time. I had the upmost confidence in Nicholas and can't thank him enough for all the hard work he put in which thankfully finally paid off. They appear to have no respect for people and their time. Don't be mislead by my rating. I would give them 0/5 if possible. I find it completely unacceptable that this team of people at the Chesham branch can deal with people futures in this way. It takes so much work, effort and sacrifice just to get to this point and then when you get there Chancellors do nothing but hinder you, feed you different stories. Rude and staff lie a lot. Beware if its about letting.

I recently used chancellors estate agents to move to one of there rented property’s. My dealing was with Declan Hartigan ,Who was very informed very helpful and welcoming. Very professional throughout the whole process keeping me informed with a personal touch. It's always a nice surprise when somebody remembers your name considering the amount of people they have to deal with. Me, my husband and our daughter just moved yesterday to our new flat. I can't belive all process was so quick and not as complicated as I first thought. Very special thanks to Nathan Tan, he was very patient and professional, he really supported us. He explained us everything, sometimes twice as we are not a native speakers ;). If you're a bit scared of all this "scary" agencies, forms, processes and other things that may seem to be complicated I can honestly recommend you chancellors and Nathan. Big thanks again!

What a pleasant experience! I went into the Henley branch and spoke to Jon, a very helpful employee for your Henley area. I needed some assistance in my property search and I was very impressed with your employees knowledge of the area, not only places/areas within my budget but also how close the houses were to everything else I would need to be around or near my new home, schools, shops etc! I'm in a bit of a rush as I am moving to the area for a job and knew nothing about Henley and surrounding suburbs. Whilst I was in the branch I was comfortable the whole time and did not feel pressured at all, which is refreshing for an estate agents! I left feeling like I had real direction on what was now within my means and will be back to arrange viewings next time I am in the area! A great experience overall!

Dream Team at the ChesHAM branch of Chancellors. From our initial phone call to Nick Richmond and then the face to face for a market appraisal seemed a very slick and professional approach. Nick was very friendly at our first meet and had an infectious sense of humour which both my wife and I warmed to instantly. I will fondly remember the question I asked Nick in what we could do to make the sale of our house more appealing to potential buyers. He came out with the usual stuff that you hear on TV i.e De-clutter, fresh flowers and the smell of fresh bread. When I pointed out to Nick that the De-clutter and flowers were no problem the fresh bread would be as I had no bread maker in the house. Nick's sense of humour kicked in when he said that would not be a problem as he actually preferred the smell of freshly toasted crumpets with Jamon and if we were prepared to do this he would pencil in breakfast time slots to show potential buyers around our property. Great guy and a great team at the office, always at the end of the phone for any queries. A credit to the industry. Keep up the good work. Vince & Sarah Cox

If you are buying or selling a property, there's only one estate agents to use and that is Chancellors Chesham. I can't say enough nice things about them, particularly Nick Richmond. He is truly a jewel in their crown. At a time where selling a house can be stressful, Nick was tremendous and made the whole process much easier. Nick was always at the end of the phone whenever we needed it and would go above and beyond the call of duty to help and advise, with the professionalism, diligence and knowledge that befits someone at the top of his game. We have used Nick Richmond and his team (Dan, Alec, Mel etc etc) since we moved to Chesham sevaral years ago. The level of enthusiasm and professionalism has been outstanding and customer service and feedback given has been very welcomed. Many people overlook one of the roles of estate agents - that they are instrumental in finding or selling us our homes; the places we shall be spending much of our lives within, they are not just a significant investment. When you talk to Nick, Dan, Alec etc you realise that these guys really do appreciate where we are coming from, be that as a buyer or seller (and we have been both). Nick has been a pleasure to deal with as he regularly makes personal contact and provides updates. Under his guidance, his team also do likewise and we have been very comfortable having them assist us. Recommended? Absolutely 100%.

I cannot thank Grace Curry at Chancellors Chesham enough for her support, professionalism and pure dedication to her job to find us a new home. We were told at Christmas that the property we were renting was to be sold so straight away started to look for a new home. Considering we still had until late May before our tenancy agreement ended, I thought there was plenty of time. Unfortunately, because we've got 2 dogs, it was proving to be very difficult to find a new home that would accept our beloved pets. But then I found Grace!! I enquired about a rental property with Chancellors, but unfortunately it had been rented within 4 hours of being on the market. The following day another property two doors up became available and Grace very kindly got me a viewing that morning. Sadly the landlord accepted an offer from another viewer, so it was back to square one. By this stage, we only had a few weeks before we had to vacate our home and that night I started looking into how to re-home my dogs, which would have been heartbreaking after 6 years together. But then, as if by some miracle, Grace phoned me the next evening to tell me the original property I had enquired about was coming back to the market and was I still interested? Obviously, the answer was a resounding Yes and at 7.05am the next morning I received an email from Grace saying she had arranged a viewing for that morning if I was available. This sort of service was above and beyond what I would expect and I was incredibly grateful to Grace because we made an offer which was accepted and we moved in this past weekend - along with our dogs!! It is so hard to find a rental property that will take dogs and Grace was so supportive and understanding of our situation that she was determined to find us a new home and has been in constant contact to make sure everything went smoothly. Again, I cannot thank or praise Grace Curry enough for her constant diligence and friendliness and support throughout the whole process. I am convinced if she hadn't been prepared to go that extra mile for her customers, we would be without our dogs in order to find a home. So a big THANK YOU to Grace - Chancellors are very lucky to have such a wonderful and committed member of their team.

Having not bought or sold a house in Chesham for 40 years, I had no recent experience of Estate Agents. I chose Chancellors to sell my deceased Father-in Law's house simply because they seem to have a massive presence in Chesham. Their FOR SALE boards seem to be everywhere, quickly followed by SOLD boards so I thought they might be the best bet for achieving a quick, secure sale. I wasn't disappointed because we had an offer within a couple of days and the sale has completed with no problems at all. I found Nick Richmond and his team at the Chesham office very professional, and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Having just exchanged contracts on our house sale/purchase I have to take the time to give our awesome estate agents a glowing review. The team at Chancellors (Chesham of course) have been second to none. With the patience and diplomacy of saints, they are always willing to listen. There is an amazing buzz in the office, which is conveyed through everyone's bright and enthusiastic manner. Alec has been fabulous at sorting out little hiccups and Kevin is a fantastic sounding board - then of course Mr Nicholas Richmond who drives the whole thing - Also, I cannot fault their mortgage arrangement service from Rick. Finally, I would also wholly recommend their conveyancing service - direct line and email to my solicitor which has been also been superb. Well done guys! And thank you :-)

He was always willing to spend time on the phone, or face-to-face, to update on things. Kevin was also able to advise on what could be done to a property to change the layout or potentially increase value, due to his previous experience in the building industry.
