I am satisfied with my experience with Read Maurice and especially Marc who has been my contact point. Based on my interest, Marc offered up other properties to view as well advise against other that would be too tired for what I was looking for. Impressed with the quick sense he had on what I would/wouldn’t like. The property I had my heart set on had a long lead time, but he worked back with the landlord to speed up the refresh of the place and get things in place before i got keys. Any interaction since moving in has also been very responsive.

Very judgemental company, if you don't look the part they won't consider you! Just because I don't wear a suit and a tie doesn't mean I don't have money... I am a gay man and proud of that... Marc was awful just felt like before we even stepped through the door he took one look at me and my partner and said hell NO! Been waiting 3 days even though we wanted the property... no contact... WARING! you have to look the part and not be gay to be accepted! Me and my partner work for the NHS getting our hands dirty I would never recommend this compony EVER!

I bought my lovely new home via Reed Maurice after an extensive search and three false starts. I know everyone says everything happens for a reason. In my case this was very true. My new home is perfect, far more so than the first one I fell in love with, which broke my heart when the sale fell thru. Chloe was my initial contact at RM. Patient, positive and eternally pleasant she really listened to what I wanted and would proactively call me with suggestions. So much so that the home I eventually bought was in an entirely different area of Cheltenham that I had not considered, but the house was a perfect match to my wish list and Hatherley has exceeded my expectations. Quiet, beautiful views, well kept properties and good connections into central Cheltenham. Or a short cycle. I've lost 1/2 a stone without trying. Martin was the main contact through the purchase. He's very hard to read as he is thoroughly professional, no nonsense and rarely betrays his own views or emotions. Making him a level head, trusted advisor and entirely straight forward to deal with. The only reason this review is not a 5 is that another member of the team did a bit of unnecessary "mansplaining" to me about what "best and final" means. However this didn't detract from an overall brilliant experience.

I would strongly recommend Read Maurice based on our recent house sale. The small but perfectly formed team are professional and consistently give you confidence that everything is under control. Right from the house valuation, we received honest feedback from Jason and a sensible approach to marketing the property which also included great photos of our house. This approach certainly paid off as we received offers in the first week. Both Chloe and Rebecca were fantastic throughout the end to end sales process. They were always up to date and on the ball in driving to our agenda of a quick completion before Christmas and worked hard to ensure that this was achieved. They managed to find that perfect balance between the frequency of chasing all relevant parties (including solicitors) in the chain and at the same time maintaining high professional standards as not to come across too pushy. Communication was always quick and responsive. Thank you all for a great job.

A first class service from start to finish from an extremely professional and friendly team. Their care, advice and help in the sale of my elderly Aunt’s house in Cheltenham have been exceptional. With special thanks to Jason, Chloe and Becky who went out of their way in the amount of help needed as my Aunt had moved into a care home and I live in Yorkshire. From the start they produced a charming brochure with excellent photos. Communication was superb and they kept us informed each step of the way with prompt feedback from viewings.
