TrustpilotAs a landlord I would not recommend…
As a landlord I would not recommend this letting agent. They have a competitive percentage, but you do not much in return other than poorly worded. On numerous occasions we had to chase the letting agent to get tasks completed. Things would be completed without our knowledge. On numerous occasions they undertook inspections and charged us when we had not asked for this and it took numerous emails to ensure we were refunded. I believe they employ such "mistake" tactics on purpose to exploit landlords who do not check what they are being charged for. I wouldn't be surprised if they do this to tenants as well. They also charge a large amount for renewing contracts and explain that it is part of the lawyer fees required to ensure our protection. They also tried to charge for marketing fees when it was the previous tenants simply renewing the contract to stay another year. Again this was put down to some miscommunication between the departments....They will undertake actions and then patronise you when it seems like this is not what you wanted to happen; saying it was in the terms of business or sorry this is what we always do. I could write more and more of the annoying and incompetent things they have done, but I think you can see my frustrations! I cannot recommend highly enough not using this company, but maybe they are best of a bad bunch!

He gave us a valuation that surprised me, never thought the house could be worth that much, and he got it sold for that much - despite the markets taking a tumble shortly afterwards (the Liz Truss debacle). Extremely poor agents with a voracious and insatiable appetite for extracting every possible penny from their unfortunate tenants. Their website, comically, makes boasts about their ethical credentials, but the reality is very different. Repeated requests for the return of the part of our deposit held in excess of the new government maximum were roundly ignored, until eventually after much persistence a brief and high-handed note was received stating they were not legally obliged to do so. Not legally obliged no, but morally and honourably obliged surely.They've had more than 10 years of unearned interest from our deposit and you'd think that'd be sufficient for them. But instead they rely on the absolute letter of the law to squeeze their poor tenants as hard as they possibly can.A shameful and immoral company. Avoid if you possibly can.

Avoid using Andrews Estate agents. Bad service for the buyer with wrong information given. I was told that there was no on going chain when buying a house, only to be told later there was. I would not have got involved in the first place had I not been deceived by them. It also took them a week to tell me if the property was freehold or leasehold. I contacted them every day to get an answer.

I've called and emailed countless times to enquire about different properties to view and even booked a viewing online. So far ive never had a phone pick up or 1 email responded to. I know things move fast so have called them immediately after receiving a rightmove alert and nothing. Very strange not to even get an 'its gone' message back. Ive not dealt with any other agent this bad. Very strange set up.

Awful. The most expensive yet rudest and most incompetent letting agency I have ever used. Took my money and then completely failed to communicate for many weeks while they 'sorted things out'. It was all on me to seek updates, ensure progress was being made etc. The manager of the Witney branch was actually offensive. This was a very stressful process, exceptionally expensive and at times degrading. Its a wonder they are still in business. If you are a landlord/lady, PLEASE do not use Andrews. If a tenant really wants your property, they have no choice but to use the agent you select and you then submit them to this over-priced, awful process. There are far better agents and nicer people out there who will treat your new tenants with the respect they deserve. The other reviews back this all up. An appalling way to run a business. What kind of management/leadership is running this cowboy operation? If you have any option whatsoever, landlord or tenant, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. I would be happy never to have anything to do with this bunch of people ever again.

As soon as you get to sign a contract with them they wont care about you.We have a broken shower for 4 months, and we are unable to shower at home and have no bath. They keep dragging the repairs and keep promising unrealistic dates. It's been like that for 4 months and nothing has been done.Whenever I call in to complain, their admins are very rude and disrespectful, and speak to you with absolute disrespect/show no interest to help you.

I offered on a property via Andrews which was accepted and went through the full process of completion leading to exchange over six months, days before expected completion the vendor changed their mind and I was left with solicitor and mortgage fees to pay. The property was remarketed by Andrews the next day, this was the worst experience ever and I would never use it recommend them. Not sure how this was allowed I will be seeking legal advice
