7 Oct '24 UPDATED - Following further examples of incredibly poor customer service I've had to reinstate 1 star - it's just amazing...Have been chasing mail we could not redirect since we left property on 16 Sept. Have called multiple times, no response. Walked into office and stated the same. "let me call the new tenants now". So I sat and waited at front. After 5 min I stood up and asked, am I meant to be waiting? Lady stated "oh they didn't pick up".I've given up getting back the package that was returned from a buyer.27 Sept UPDATED - changed to 3 stars as they proactively reached out to me and discussed the problems we had. I would suggest regular check-ins with your tenants through surveys to assist with this, rather than after-exit requests for reviews.~~~We were renters with Andrews in Orpington. Very mixed experience that started off badly and just had zero support throughout the 2 years we were there.When we first moved in, the property was not in a clean standard, carpets hadn't been cleaned and the 'hidden' areas were disgusting (filthy dishwasher, inside the washing machine, inside cupboards etc.).We requested a clean and carpet clean at their expense, which they did do, but it disrupted our move in.Once we moved in we had no garage entry due to the previous tenant not returning it and some complications with getting a new one. Had to park in another carpark for over two weeks - which was less secure and a distance from the home. They refunded carpark charges but refused to provide any rental discount.When things went wrong you had to chase Raluca, email after email, followup after followup to get anything fixed. The floor never got fixed the entire time we were there - with large gaps appearing. Rent increased during this time by 20%.The person who came out to quote for the floor fixing broke the under-counter skirting so it always fell down - I chased for this to get fixed and go t responded with 'use blu tak'.Thankfully we never had anything major we had to get resolved, but the level of service as an agent was just not existent.We decided to leave the property after another proposed 10% rent hike and a viewing was organised without even contacting us - they turned up at the front door and we just refused entry. Very unprofessional.Being a landlord myself, I know what a good agent looks like, they are responsive to both the tenant and owners needs - thats why they get a %age of the rent. Unfortunately we did not get anywhere near that level of service as a tenant.
