I would definitely recommend using Colubrid Estate Agents. They are extremely responsive and efficient and made my home buying process as a first time buyer a seamless experience. Joshua Morel was friendly and was available to answer any questions where needed within a timely manner. They were accommodating and made themselves available to view the property within a few hours. I also went with their solicitor recommendation, as they mentioned it would mean the solicitor process would be more efficient. I am glad I decided to proceed with their solicitor recommendation as they were cooperative and even managed to exchange in two months. If I would need to sell my property in the future I no doubt would be using colubrid for their services. Thank you to Joshua and the rest of the team for their friendliness and professionalism.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company, they're lying and corrupt. Told me I was tied in for two weeks when infact it was 16 weeks, contract was in pen and he clearly added bits in there when he left, they reduced my house on Rightmove without consulting me. Josh from Stanford brunch is sneaky. Avoid at all costs.

Would highly recommend colubrid in Chelmer Village. We sold my late Dad's flat through this company and would like to thank Keely for going way and beyond in helping both us and our buyer through a very difficult process. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Keely and she guided and helped us through it every step of the way . Was so nice to deal with a person who actually cared about her job and us . We had not previously heard of Colubrid when we had our house valued earlier this year but were recommended them via the GetAgent site (along with two other more established agents covering the wider area). From the very first meeting with Mark and numerous follow ups with branch manage, Joshua, we could tell they were quite different to your typical estate agents. Reassuring, professional, candid, very personable and we are pleased to say they helped as achieve a sale price we were happy with. Joshua kept was able to keep us up to date with interest and provided sound advice and strategy. If you are looking to list in the CV area, you could not go far wrong by asking them for a valuation.

Keely the customer relationship manager is an absolute credit to the company. I had problems with my sale with a different branch, but Keely built trust with me and went out of her way at her own personal expense to do everything she could to help me. She was in regular contact, sometimes outside of her working hours, because she genuinely cared and wanted to help. After having issues with another branch, Keely personally did the viewings on my house outside of her usual area, outside of her usual hours and at at her own travel cost. I can't thank Keely enough for her efforts, dedication, care and emotional support. She truly went above and beyond her role to try to rectify things that were not of her doing and was genuine throughout. Keely really shared the journey with me and understood the situation.
