I recently sold my house with colubrid and cannot fault them , my house was sold within 2 weeks. We had around 30 viewings in the first week with several offers. I was kept up to date at every stage, we had a buyer pull out and the next day they had another buyer at the same offer ready to go. Special mention to Joshua who did the valuation , he made me feel at ease straight away and I trusted he could sell the house quickly. The whole team are really friendly and easy to get in touch with.

I came here as a first time buyer and wasn’t sure what I was doing, however I met Tony harper he was so helpful and explained everything to me in complete detail and if I had any questions he had all the answers, nothing was to much for him and he didn’t complain or make me feel like I was asking to much, he was so attentive and understood exactly what I was after, he guided me throughout the whole process. Dashboard never materialised and the sale went nowhere

Overall, our experience was disappointing. The initial valuation was in line with other estate agents, but the offers we received, first £25,000 below and then £18,000 below the valuation estimate, raised concerns. The first offer was £5,000 below what we paid 4, 5 years ago, and the second offer was only £2,000 above what we originally paid. When I turned these down and said I wanted at least £10,000 more than what we paid, we were then told that the market hadn’t changed much since we bought the property and that we should expect similar prices, even though they had originally valued it at £20,000 more than what we paid.

I cannot fault the service we have received from Colubrid, with a particular thanks to Keely, Joshua and Mark. Everyone has been really friendly and gone above and beyond to help with our house sale. Everything was explained clearly to me at the valuation stage and the team were quick to arrange viewings for us. This was on Friday and by Monday afternoon we had accepted an offer! Jake was very enthusiastic and engaging in getting as many viewers as possible to see my property. Joshua was brilliant in letting me know feedback and any offers being made. We were extremely pleased with Colubrid and their approach and support with selling our house. We had seen their agents in chelmer village square and other houses with their signs up. That along with their personable approach and good commission rates made us choose this agent and we were not disappointed and sold our house in a week.
