Wow, let me tell you about my incredible experience with CM Rent & Sales! They are truly one of the most efficient, professional, and friendly Estate Agents I've ever come across. As a dog owner, finding a new home for myself and my beloved 3-year-old bulldog was becoming a real nightmare. But when I stumbled upon CM Rent & Sales, my gut instinct told me that these were the people who could help me out. And boy, was I right! From the get-go, Jasmine, one of their top agents, took care of my application with such expertise and professionalism. But what really stood out to me was how friendly and approachable she was. She made me feel at ease and answered all my questions with such efficiency. I've had previous experiences with less-than-friendly agents, but Jasmine was a breath of fresh air. We have been trying to reach out to CM rent with no luck, the telephone line just keeps going to voicemail, the emails bounced for the two staff we have communicated with before, there's no way to reach CM rent again for enquiry. The response says Connell group, when I called Connels they confirmed they are different from CM rent

We recently moved from the US and began looking for a rental while we were still in the states. Almost ALL letting agents wouldn't even return our call and those that did told us they didn't trust we would actually show up. CM was 1 of 2 agents that were actually willing to work with us. They were willing to have a friend tour the rental with us on video chat, which many agents did not seem comfortable with. The process was straightforward enough and Harry was happy to explain anything that we didn't understand coming from the US. CM was great. I had no concerns throughout the letting process.

Awful company, have had a leak and heating issue since I have moved in which remains unfixed. They delay and deny constantly leaving my 3 year old and I with no effective heating and a property full of damp. The agents are inhumane, making you feel like you are the problem for complaining. They lie constantly and you have to repeatedly report the same issues. They get opinions from contractors and chose the one that suits them without fully investigating issues. I had a power flush done in Jan and I have been desperately trying to get them to look at it again, two British Gas engineers said it failed when attending on the other issue and yet they only took the view of the people who did it and categorically told me it was fine. Now the boiler has broken as it is so full of sludge. I complained to head office and they said they weren’t aware of issues I had reported repeatedly and even had their replies! Then went on to say whilst they accepted there were delays there’s no evidence this would have made things worse… leaving a leak and not fixing it won’t make it worse?!? They will not accept any fault. These people should be ashamed of themselves

Agency takes weeks to fix issues, leaving us for 3 weeks without a working front door which was a fire Hazzard, and over 7 weeks without access to our garage where we had food in our freezer. This also delayed our ability to move property. Staff seem very friendly and make all sorts of promises but fail miserably at delivering any sort of resolutions. Also made us pay £100 fee for guarantor fees which wasn't needed, but they refused to refund. Thank God for Covid as we were able to live out our 6 weeks deposit as they wanted to deduct money for issues that were there before we moved in and even made a few things up! Last year proved difficult with a very awkward tenant who refused to communicate, failed to pay rent, was responsible for a lot of damage and so on... Helen and the girls at CM Rent were so helpful to me, constantly trying to communicate with the tenant and always keeping me updated with any information and generally holding my hand throughout the whole ordeal. At the time I was very unsure of how things would pan out, I had never been in such a situation and didn't know what to expect, it was a constant worry but Helen was fantastic at assuring me that I was in good hands and and that she would keep trying to make contact and somehow resolve the situation. The tenant eventually moved out, having not paid their rent, unbeknown to myself or Helen, leaving a bunch of keys on the floor at the office in Chelmsford. This was a blessing but also a concern as I had no idea if the flat was secure. In her own time Helen passed by the premises and checked for me, looking through the windows and making the door was securely shut. This kind of behaviour helped me sleep at night, knowing that , although I live no where near the property, I had someone local looking out for me. I can't tell you haw much it helped, I slept so much better at that time. I cannot thank Helen and Sophie and the ladies at CM Chelmsford enough.
