So disappointing experience with Spencers. I don't think they are professionals. I don't believe their reviews in Google are true. We had the worst experience like tenants. Katy and Naomi let us down. So the things now escalated to Property Ombudsman. Please tenants and landlords and any other people who are using their services look after your rights! Keep your evidences and report Spencers to Property Ombudsman like I do.

first of all they have sided with their own staff regarding a meeting for a mortgage. I attended a meeting with my friend who was a first time buyer, The mortgage advisor took our details and asked what my friend was offered elsewhere and we told him. after this he could not get better figures than what my friend had already got and he stressed it is impossible to get those figures,He was so unprofessional saying he would put his 20 years experience to the test etc. He was very annoying and also told my friend to lower his voice and calm down when my friend was talking in the same tone all the way through and was so calm. he left the family upset. later on that day we went to CONNELS who gave similar figures that we got before which proves that this mortgage advisor has failed to please us at all. Customer is always right?

Vinny was fantastic from start to finish! He helped me and my partner apply for a mortgage to move home as we needed to upsize. The thought of applying for a mortgage is always daunting due to the level of paperwork involved but Vinny always took the time to explain everything. There was regular updates and every time we had a question, Vinny always picked up the phone or replied to emails. You are an asset to Countrywide and we cannot thank you enough for helping! I bought a property through Spencers and found them very friendly to deal with. They helped me manage the sale by liaising with and chasing solicitors! Ellie and Vinny were great, with Vinny finding a really good mortgage deal for me, which went through with no fuss. Vinny was particularly indispensable for helping manage the sale with the mortgage provider and solicitors, keeping things moving and giving at least weekly progress updates. He was always someone I could ring with questions.

Absolute Thieves.

Over 2 years since i moved out still have not seen a penny of my deposit. Absolute thieves being incredibly rude over email, anyone working there should be ashamed at what they do to people. I will be taking legal action for far more than the original amount owed.

We purchased our first home through Spencer's and from start to finish received amazing support and guidance from the team who were always happy to help with any queries or worries that we had as first time buyers.
