Great service from Tina and Kayleigh, I had a home visit with Kayleigh who explained how the process would work with marketing our flat and given and expected sale time frame which was SPOT-ON. Tina was in contact throughout the viewing process to arrange visits and provide me with feedback from each viewing more importantly before and since an offer was accepted both have always been easily contactable with the added assistance of chasing solicitors to keep me and my buyer up to date at all times. Both Kayleigh and Tina have made the process a lot easier than I Imagined, thank you both.

Recently purchased a property using this branch and their mortgage advisor. Despite it being a protracted purchase due to circumstances beyond their control, the dedication of the team was hugely appreciated. Jemma, Naomi and Scott were all professional and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to all for your support during the process and explaining every step along the way. I can highly recommend Conor Coll at Bairstow Eves, Chafford Hundred. This is the 2nd year that I have used Bairstow Eves to find tennants and manage my property for me and I have received outstanding service. Conor is extremely knowledgeable with the local rental market and worked hard going through his client list and found tennants within days of it being marketed. Conor is always professional, efficient and gives excellent advise. The entire process is made so easy for the landlord as everything is done for you. Highly recommend this office. I phoned the other day to enquire about a property I had seen on right move a couple of weeks ago. I had spoke to a young gentlemen named Conor who was very helpful and was able to answer any questions I had. Even though the property I was enquiring about had already been let, Conor was still able to recommend me with other properties to look at within the same price range. I was extremely happy with the service I was provided with. Highly recommend the Chafford hundred office, very professional, and always happy to help.

From the first phone call, Bairstow Eves have been helpful and friendly. The first agent we met was Nick who was showing us round a property that we had found online after showing us the property and realizing it was not what we were looking for, he asked us what we wanted and suggested looking at another property that was nearby and that he thought met our requirements and he was right. Since then we have dealt with Conor and Beverly who have been fantastically efficient and - unlike a lot of other estate agents - kept us in the loop and have been pro-active in dealing with our requests. In short, this is a fantastic team that I would be happy to deal with again.

East Ham branch- a great team

After having a very problematic experience at another agency it was a great relief to work with this East Ham Branch of Bairstow Eves. I realise different locations will present different experiences, but I was very happy with our treatment as vendors.They work very well as a team and are people-oriented so are good when things go well but also when things don't go so well. We had a great experience from Zak arranging viewings, and following up, Maria and Katrina doing the viewings, collecting offers and David progressing the sale. The main thing we appreciated was their honesty and the fact they always communicated quickly and effectively in good times and in bad. We know we were lucky to have progressed our sale so quickly but it wasn't just good luck. They found us the right buyer and kept things moving and pushed when they needed to. There was none of the 'gas-lighting' and cover up we had experienced from other agents when things didn't go according to plan so we were able to trust them implicitly. We are very grateful and would highly recommend them, especially in this tough market and area.

Do you think it is fair to refuse to…

Do you think it is fair to refuse to allow a tenant to be a part of an inspection knowing this would give them a fair chance to address anything they'll later be accused of damaging before deductions are made to their deposit? All I can say is Bairstow Eves Sales and Lettings Lincoln are awful and my family described their boss after my treatment at the hands of them saying 'Simon Sewell is an awful man.' They obviously have someone burying bad reviews here. But have a look at all the one star comments, and on different websites where their rating is usually 2 stars. It's not just that Bairstow Eves get it wrong it's that they'll do anything to cover it up and insist they don't learn from their mistakes. The standard reply to reviews like this is 'we don't know what property this is in relation to.' Yes, that's because you know you have tenants over a barrel, tenants who want you to address your incompetence and you know full well they'll make themselves vulnerable if saying the precise tenancy they refer to!

A friend had highly recommended we use a lady in the team by the name of Rebecca Humber. He had used Bairstoweves himself to let several properties and he recommended asking for her. Well let me tell you, he wasn’t wrong. She is such an asset to the Bairstoweves Nottingham team. From the moment we met her it was apparent that she was such a lovely lady and knew how to deal with our needs. This wasn’t just a house to let, it was our family home we were letting, so it held so many memories for us and we wanted to do the best we could to find the right tenants. Rebecca guided us all the way through the process and was alway there at the end of the phone to answer any questions and offer advice if we needed it, from start to finish, nothing being to much trouble with her friendly can do attitude.We also dealt with some of the other members of the team that were all as helpful as each other along the way. I’d also like to give a shout out to Shanna Seaton who did a wonderful job looking after us and showing potential tenants around and helping us in choosing the right family for our house. I would strongly discourage anyone from renting student property through Bairstow Eves based on our experience at 14 Devonshire Promenade this year. During the middle of winter, our house was left without heating for three weeks, which is completely unacceptable, especially in freezing conditions. We were initially told we would receive compensation for this, but that promise was later withdrawn without proper explanation.

Kylie, and her colleagues, at Bairstow Eves Walsall have been awesome. Bringing my properties over to her agency, as a landlord, has been complicated by the fact I live on the other side of the world, and because of some tenants who were unresponsive. Luckily, the legends at Bairstow have been super communicative, answered my flurry of dumbs questions, and are happy dealing over email. Unlike the previous agency I used, they always get back to me and are actually managing my properties from nearby - in Walsall - rather than a constantly-changing contact at a random, national call centre.
